In Luke's Gospel, on the day of Jesus' resurrection, two disciples unknowingly end up walking with the risen Lord from Jerusalem to Emmaus. On the way, Jesus teaches them from Moses, the psalms and the prophets how Scripture made it clear that the Messiah was to suffer, die and rise from the dead. This Sunday we will look at some of those Old Testament texts that Jesus would have referenced to teach his followers the Gospel (Luke 22:14-23). Come join us for worship at 10:30 this Sunday morning!
