Attention Thrive Church!

We have had a member of our church test positive for COVID this weekend. So beginning today, we will be closing up the building for two weeks and moving services online.

Please watch the whole video to get more information about what the next two weeks will look like and please be sure to pass this information along.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us here on Facebook or at the church office Monday-Thursday 9-2. All calls will go straight to Pastor Aiyanna who, like the rest of the staff, will be working from home.

It's almost time to open our doors again but we need your help! We would love for you to join us at the KFWC as we love on our community.

If you are interested in volunteering with the Klamath Family Warming Center you can fill out an application online at https://www.thrivechurchkfalls.org/warming-center.

Thank you for serving, giving and loving our community. We couldn't do what we do without you.

As we are stuck at home and not able to be together we wanted to set a time for us to all come together online and worship as a family.

Every Friday at 11:00AM we will be posting a short worship video. Our hope is that we will each set aside this time every week to come together and fervently pray.

It is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that :
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

So let’s bombard heaven with our prayers for our city, our state, our country and our land.

As I look out at the chaos in the world around me, I am reminded of the story of when Peter walked on the water.

We all know the story! Can you imagine? As the storm surrounded Peter, he decided to step out of the boat and HE WALKED ON WATER… until he didn’t. The moment that Peter decided to take his eyes off of the Lord, he began to sink.

How does this apply to us?

As we are going through this storm, God wants you to know that you do not have to fear for He is here and He is in control. When I am in the midst of trials and tribulations, this story has always reminded me to keep my eyes on God no matter the circumstances. My hope is that it will do the same for you.

When we keep our eyes on God, though the storm does not go away, we will have overwhelming peace through it. We will be in the eye of the storm.

PLEASE READ:
In case you haven’t heard. All regularly scheduled services will still take place as usual until further notice. We have been taking measures to make sure that our facility is clean and sanitized. If you are unable or uncomfortable joining us, we will be recording our Sunday services live (the link will be posted in the comments of the main video).

As we look around us, we can see people operating and living in fear. We do not have to live in that fear! God is in control! As the world is going through this crisis, we are filled with hope. We need to do our very best to make sure that Jesus’ light is illuminated so that the world can have hope too!

So what can we do as we wait this out???

1. We can pray!
2. Reach out to those in the community to see if they are in need of anything. You can contact the church office or Pastor Aiyanna to see if there is anyone in our church who is in need.
3. Take all the precautions that you can.
4. Don’t panic!

Love you all!!!
