Join us on Sunday morning at 8 & 10 am as we usher in a Season of Creation. We begin this series of messages with a focus on Oceans and a short message from our friends at Save Kittery Waters . More about this series of messages:

We are part of a single, wondrously complex web of life, woven together by God. Each year, from the beginning of September through October 4, Christians around the world observe the Season of Creation—a time to celebrate God’s creation and renew our commitment to its care.

During this season, we remember that our lives are bound together—not only with one another, but with “every living creature on Earth” (Genesis 9:10). Together, we are invited to pray, to consider how we might live more sustainably within our common home, and to raise our voices on behalf of the Earth and all who share it.

For the four Sundays of September, we will focus on a different aspect of creation each week including Oceans (Sept. 6), Fauna (Sept. 13), Storms (Sept. 20) and the Cosmos (Sept. 27). On October 4th, which is the day of the Feast of St. Francis, we will worship outside as we hold a Blessing of the Animals!

Join us as we celebrate Christ, the creator, and the wonders of creation!

Blue Fest Community & Craft Fair is ON! Lucy, a Screech Owl Ambassador from the Center for Wildlife is here with her human friend Valerie, and seems to be the star of the event so far! Come on down and catch a coastal breeze, grab lunch from Stone and Fire Pizza Catering or a magically unique custom beverage from Plot Twist Beverage! True Mainer Wayne Harris is here with his heirloom-quality handmade furniture. Simple, and STUNNING. Dovetails, hand-painting... the crafstmanship is the type anyone would be proud to use in their home. We're open until 3!

Good morning, Kittery Point! Today's the day. We're up early, setting up tents and tables, boxing up 200 pies, and tying up last-minute loose ends. While we chug our coffee, we want to introduce another NEW crafter to Blue Fest: Susan Garrity of Ocean Air Creations.

Susan is a lifelong Mainer and sea-glass enthusiast based in Cape Elizabeth. Now retired, she spends her days doing what she loves most—scouring the shoreline for sea glass, sea pottery, driftwood, and other treasures that wash up with the tide.

Visit Susan, and thirty other crafters, artists, and nonprofit exhibitors, at Blue Fest today! Pancakes come off the griddle at 8am. Craft Fair opens at 9!

What do you do when you arrive at the Blue Fest Community & CraftFair at 9:30 am and the pies you've had your eye on have already sold out? If you're a chef like Gerry, you block off your calendar, round up a few friends, and make darn sure there are enough pies for next year!

Special thanks to "Berry Gerry" Walsh, "Pancake Paul" Collins, and friend "Berry Bill" for being so generous with their time, culinary skills, and blueberries. We were able to crank out 213 pies in the last couple days, and we're ready for you! See you tomorrow morning at the Bakery Tent.
