Look at that plate again.
One small piece of food. And around it, reaching for it, are all the faces we don't see when we're scraping our leftovers into the trash without a second thought.
We've all done it. Left food on the plate because we were full, or it wasn't quite what we wanted, or we just forgot it was there. It feels harmless. Small. Forgettable.
But somewhere, that same amount of food is the difference between a child eating today or going to bed hungry again.
There's a saying that wasting food is like stealing from the table of the poor. It sounds harsh until you really sit with it because every bit we throw away is a bit that never makes it to someone who needed it far more than we did.
This isn't about guilt. It's about awareness. About remembering, every single time we sit down to eat, that not everyone gets to.
Your support can turn that awareness into action a warm meal, a safe home, an education, a doctor's visit for a child who has no one else to provide it. Small choices, multiplied by people who care, add up to someone's entire world.
Be the reason a child doesn't go without.
