My friends in light of the global pandemic caused by the Corona Virus (COVID-19) Let us chose to be intentional. Here are my humble suggestions. Would love to hear what you have done and are doing. Let us help and support each other, in whatever way possible.
1. Have a plan of action to stay connected versus being in isolation.
Gathering virtually is a great alternate to being in large public gatherings. Use video chats, call the elderly especially the ones who live alone. Check in on your "strong friends" (the ones who tend to take care of everyone else). Make sure they are doing self-care. I saw a clip where the Italians are opening their windows and singing to boost morale. How creative!
2. Prepare for the worse, expect the best. Purchase "ESSENTIALS" per chance your area goes on lock down. It is already happening in other parts of the world.
3. Exercise extreme precaution follow the wisdom of social distancing, hand washing, not touching your face, avoiding large gatherings. We must do our part in stopping this virus from spreading. Be knowledgeable of what the signs and symptoms of CV are.
4. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! Personally, with your family, with a prayer partner, on the phone, on social media. I (Sandra Valentine Ministries) host an intercessory prayer group called - 'Count Me In" - Intense Intercession for the Nations. Come over and let us pray together anytime, from anywhere- virtually.
5. Finally, DO NOT PANIC. God has given us a sound, stable mind. Remain clear and level-headed. Refuse to be caught up in the chaos and the frenzy. God is still on the throne and He reigns and rules over all.
THIS TOO, SHALL PASS.
