“A veces corremos a todo el mundo menos a Dios.” | “Sometimes we run to everyone except God.”

Buscar consejo no está mal. Tener buenos amigos, líderes y mentores tampoco. Pero tenemos que preguntarnos: cuando necesito dirección, ¿a quién estoy buscando primero?

A veces preguntamos a una persona, luego a otra, buscamos otra opinión… y hasta le pedimos a alguien más: “Mira a ver qué Dios te dice sobre esto.” Pero nosotros mismos todavía no hemos ido delante de Él.

Pastora Priscilla nos recuerda el peligro de escuchar tantas voces que terminamos dejando a un lado lo que Dios ha dicho.

Busca consejo sabio, sí. Pero no olvides buscar a Dios.

There's nothing wrong with seeking counsel or having good friends, leaders and mentors. But we should ask ourselves: when I need direction, who am I seeking first?

Sometimes we ask one person, then another, look for another opinion and even ask someone else to find out what God says for us before we've gone before Him ourselves.

Seek wise counsel, yes. But don't forget to seek God.

“Pero tengo visita…” | “But I have guests…”

¿Y quién dijo que tener visita significa que tú también tienes que faltar?

Pastor Priscilla cuenta cómo su hermano estaba de visita con ella. Él ni siquiera es cristiano, pero cuando llegó el domingo, fue él quien le recordó: “Tú tienes iglesia. Vete para la iglesia.”

A veces usamos nuestras visitas, nuestros planes o nuestras circunstancias como la excusa perfecta para no congregarnos.

Invítalos contigo. Y si no quieren ir, déjales saber que regresas. Pero no uses la visita como excusa para quedarte tú también!

Who said having company means you have to miss church too?

Pastor Priscilla shares how her brother was visiting her. He isn't even a Christian, but when Sunday came, he was the one reminding her: “You have church. Go to church.”

Sometimes we use our guests, plans, or circumstances as the perfect excuse not to gather.
Invite them with you. And if they don't want to go, let them know you'll be back. But don't use having company as your excuse to stay home too!

Puedes ir a la iglesia… y todavía no conocer realmente a Dios. | You can go to church… and still not truly know God.

Pastor Isiah también estuvo ahí. No entendía el fuego que veía en otros porque todavía no conocía verdaderamente quién era Dios.

A veces pensamos que estar presentes en la iglesia significa que conocemos a Dios. Pero hay una diferencia entre saber de Él y conocerlo por ti mismo.

Si hoy te identificas con esta parte de su testimonio, no te quedes ahí. Acércate a Dios. Él te está esperando.

Pastor Isiah was there too. He didn't understand the fire he saw in others because he didn't truly know who God was yet.

Sometimes we think being present in church means we know God. But there's a difference between knowing about Him and knowing Him for yourself.If you see yourself in this part of Pastor Isiah's testimony, don't stay there. Draw closer to God. He's waiting.

Puedes tener dones… ¿pero sabes amar? | You can have spiritual gifts… but do you know how to love? ❤️

Los dones espirituales son hermosos. Podemos anhelar que Dios nos use y que el Espíritu Santo se manifieste en nuestras vidas.

Pero Pastor Priscilla nos recuerda algo que no podemos olvidar:
Los dones nunca sustituyen el amor.

1 Corintios 13 nos enseña que aun si tuviéramos grandes dones, conocimiento y una fe capaz de mover montañas, sin amor, nada somos.

Spiritual gifts are beautiful. We can desire to be used by God and for the Holy Spirit to move through our lives.

But Pastor Priscilla reminds us of something we cannot forget:
Gifts never replace love.

1 Corinthians 13 teaches us that even if we had incredible gifts, knowledge, and faith that could move mountains, without love, we are nothing.

¿Perdonar significa que tienes que dejar a esa persona entrar nuevamente en tu vida? ❤️‍🩹

No siempre.

Puedes perdonar a alguien y aun reconocer que esa persona no puede volver a ocupar el mismo lugar en tu vida. El perdón no significa ignorar lo que ocurrió. Significa que aquello que te hicieron ya no tiene que seguir robándote el gozo.

Does forgiveness mean you have to let that person back into your life? ❤️‍🩹

Not always.

You can forgive someone while recognizing that they may no longer belong in the same place in your life. Forgiveness doesn't mean pretending the hurt never happened. It means what happened no longer has to keep stealing your joy.

Una hormiga puede cargar 50x su peso… pero hubo Uno. 👀|An ant can carry 50 times its weight… but there was One. 👀

Las hormigas son pequeñas, pero tienen una fuerza increíble. Algunas pueden cargar muchas veces su propio peso.
