Open Table Church

Open Table Church We have a place for you! // ¡Tenemos un lugar para ti! We have a place for you! Let's make Sunday the best day of your week! How Long Is A Service?

In total, an Open Table service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with our band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. What's Th

e Culture Like? Sunday's at Open Table are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed and loved as our guest. What About My Kids? We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Open Table, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the experience. First Kids is offered at every service for kids ages Birth through 5th grade.

🎉 250+ bags of food packed and ready to go! 🎒✨

Huge thank you to everyone who joined our Meals That Matter packing party! Because of your incredible hands and hearts, over 300 students across Central Elementary, New Beginnings Education Center, and Tohopekaliga High School will have access to nourishing meals.
It’s amazing what happens when a community comes together to take care of its own. Every single bag packed is a message to our local kids that they are seen, supported, and loved.

Thank you to all our volunteers who showed up after the service and made a difference today. You are the heart of this mission! 💙🙌

Week 4 – Serve
August 30, 2026
Mark 10:45

No judgment—burnout, fear, and unclear expectations are real reasons we hesitate to serve. But true service isn’t about obligation, recognition, or self-interest; it is a countercultural faith practice rooted in love, humility, and grace (Mark 10:45). When we serve like Christ, we move beyond ourselves, deepening our faith, building community, and reflecting His love to our neighbors.

Serving our community’s children is a big part of Open Table Church, and we couldn’t be more grateful for a powerful first week!

Through our Meals That Matter ministry, we had the incredible privilege of serving students at both Central Avenue Elementary School and New Beginnings Education Center - Osceola with the Osceola County School District. Every child deserves nutritious meals and to know they are loved, supported, and cared for.

A massive thank you to our amazing partners at Kairos Adventures, Inc! Not only did their team jump right in to help us pack meals, but they also donated a generous amount of food to help make this launch possible. We are so thankful for your hearts, your hands, and your commitment to making a difference alongside us.

Want to get involved?

Join us for our next packing session on Sunday, September 6, right after the 10:30 AM service! Every hand makes a big difference in ensuring our local students have what they need for the weekend.

This is just the beginning of what God is going to do through this program. Thank you to everyone who prayed, donated, and volunteered to make Week 1 a success!

Week 3 – Invite

Week 2 – Worship
August 16, 2026
Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 10:24-25, Romans 11:36

Worship is central to a thriving faith. At the very beginning of his ministry, Jesus gathered a community of disciples—founding the church to be a place where we journey together. Though modern culture often dismisses consistent church attendance as optional, gathering weekly for worship remains foundational to following Jesus.

Reflection Questions

• Personal Impact: What does corporate worship bring to your life? How has the experience opened your eyes to something greater than yourself?

• Perspective: Why is it dangerous when life revolves entirely around your own problems, stress, and anxieties without a greater perspective to ground you?

• Community Connection: Read Hebrews 10:24–25. What do you miss out on when you skip worship? More importantly, what does the church community miss out on when you aren't there?

• Deeper Dive: Consider the statement: "Your worship may be most powerful when you need it the least." Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Action Step Commit to making weekly worship a priority throughout this coming school year.

Week 1 – Pray: Pause & Get to Know Jesus
August 9, 2026
Luke 11:1-4

08/07/2026

Every August, as a new school year begins, we pause to reset our vision and remember who we are called to be as a church family. This Sunday, join us at Open Table Church as we launch our brand-new teaching series: 6 Shared Fundamental Practices!
What are these practices? Think of them as baseline expectations—the spiritual "vital signs" that keep us healthy, growing, and anchored in our commitment to God and each other.

SHARED: We are accountable to one another in living them out together.

FUNDAMENTAL: They are essential to our spiritual health and personal growth.

PRACTICES: They require action.

Like learning an instrument or playing sports, spiritual growth takes time and consistency. We don't have to be perfect—we just have to keep practicing.

🎒 BACKPACK BLESSINGS THIS SUNDAY 🎒

We're also praying over all of our students as they head back to school!
For: ALL students—elementary, middle, high school, and college!
Bring: Your backpack to service.
Get: Every student will receive a special prayer tag to keep on their bag all year long as a reminder that your church family is standing with you.

Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s start this new season grounded together. We can’t wait to save a seat for you at the table!
