Honduras is known for its “pollo chuco.” We have some of the best fried chicken in Honduras. It is typically served bathed sauce with cabbage salad on top of fried plantains. Potatoes here an expensive and some kids from the feeding station had asked for french fries instead. Leave it to me to decide to make way too many pieces of fried chicken and french fries without a commercial fryer. We pulled it off!

Because we are missing so many of our kids due to school schedules we decided to try feeding on a Sunday. It was a success. And it made nuggets of faith all the more special on a SONday.

I was disappointed as I heard several kids say they have been kicked out of public school because they still don't have a uniform. Color clothes is not permitted even in public schools.

Grateful for all the opportunities to serve and also overwhelmed. It seems like there is always something else left to do.

= 19,100 before shoes, materials, books, and any extra costs incurred. (Shampoo, soap, deodorant, laundry) She is on a shoestring budget and is still so grateful for this opportunity to continue to grow that she asked the apartment owner for a job working on Sundays making 200 lmps a day. The only thing she asked us for when she came at nine years old with her little brothers was the opportunity to study!

ODM has six kids growing towards their formal degrees in multiple cities around Honduras. You supporting their formal education is making a difference not only in their lives, but in their communities.
