When challenges arise, do you remember God's faithfulness or focus on your circumstances?

Just three days after witnessing God part the Red Sea, the Israelites were already grumbling in the wilderness. How quickly we forget what God has done!

For the past several weeks, we’ve been walking with the Israelites through Exodus—watching God do the impossible again and again.

🦗 They watched the plagues fall on Egypt. 🦗🦗
🐪They saw God deliver them from slavery. 🐪
🏜️ They followed His presence into the wilderness.

🌊 And this week, we watched as God literally made a way where there was no way—parting the Red Sea and bringing His people safely through on dry ground. 🌊

🌲 Our first Trail Life USA meeting was last night!

Last night, the boys learned some practical outdoor skills by working together to set up tents. Then things got a little more challenging—they were blindfolded and had to learn how important it is to listen carefully and follow instructions!

Pastor Nick’s devotional reminded the boys that God wants us to enjoy the good things He has given us. Ecclesiastes 2:24 reminds us that even our ability to find enjoyment in life is a gift from God. Whether it’s camping, exploring, learning a new skill, or spending time with friends, we can enjoy those things while choosing activities and actions that honor Him.

That’s a big part of what we’re excited about with Trail Life: boys having fun, learning practical skills, growing in character, and learning to follow God.

And it’s not too late to join us! If you have a boy who would enjoy being part of Trail Life, we’d love to have him come check it out!

What do you do when God has brought you to the edge of the sea—and there seems to be no way forward?

Last week, we saw Israel trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea. God’s path had led them to a place where escape seemed impossible. But the story wasn’t over.

In Part 2 of “When God Leads Us Through the Sea,” we continue through Exodus 14 and watch God do what Israel could never do for themselves. He calls them to trust Him, take the next step, and walk through the way He provides.

The God who led them to the sea was also the God who would lead them through it. And sometimes, when we cannot see a way forward, God is asking us to trust Him enough to take the next step.

🍼 New Mama? There’s a Place for You—and Your Baby—at New Promise!

We know getting out of the house with a new baby can feel like a lot. Feeding schedules, diaper bags, naps, crying—you may wonder if it would just be easier to stay home.

But we want you here. And we want your baby here, too. ❤️

When you come on Sunday morning, you can do whatever works best for you and your little one:

❤️ Bring your baby right into the service with you. Babies are welcome! A little noise doesn't bother us—we're just glad your family is here.

🧸 Let our Nursery volunteers care for your baby. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who can't wait to hold, love on, and care for your little one while you enjoy the service.

🍼 Use our Nursing Mothers Room. If you need a little more privacy or a quieter space, you can nurse, feed, change, or simply settle in and rock your baby to sleep. And you won't have to miss the service—you can watch it right from the room while cozily rocking your little one.

New moms, please don't feel like you need to wait until the baby is older, sleeping better, or your Sunday morning routine is figured out.

Come just as you are. Bring the diaper bag. Bring the car seat. Bring the baby.

There is a place for your whole family at New Promise, and we would love to have you with us this Sunday!

Come enjoy a fun evening of painting, food, and fellowship—all while supporting a great cause!

All proceeds will benefit Harriet Tubman Movement, an organization that helps people escape human trafficking and begin rebuilding their lives.
