The Table - Kirkland UCC

The Table - Kirkland UCC The Table is a contemporary spiritual community in Kirkland. The Christian story around community is centered in meeting & interacting around a table.

'The Table' is a new community and faith oriented worship experience that happens monthly on the 3rd Sunday at 5:30 pm in the downstairs Fellowship Hall of Kirkland Congregational United Church of Christ. It is free and open to the public regardless of religious affiliation. Each worship experience includes a dinner, music, discussion, interactive liturgy, prayer and communion. Our band is led by

Luke Kreikemeier, with worship by Rev. Ryan Lambert, discussion and prayer involve all in attendance (and is optional). This service happens around tables...where we can see each other, talk easily to one another, and build the community of Christ. All are welcome! Join us at 106 5th Ave. in Kirkland. The Table gathers in the basement Fellowship Hall--enter on the 5th Avenue (South) side of the building. NOTE: We encourage anyone who plays an instrument to bring it and play along! We will be Jamming a slew of great songs both new and classic and will have chords and lyrics displayed. We will encourage kids and adults to dance, sing, and/or play along on this journey that is both liturgical and musical!

We all have tables in our homes—we eat there, we stack our mail there, and we might even place our feet on the edge of the table when we are relaxing. When we gather with friends and family we often do so around a table—where we share food, share stories, laugh, and cry. At our tables we fill our bodies, nurture our souls, and meet one another—we become community, and even family, around tables.

Hello good people! In case anyone was wondering why there have not been any invites lately, It is because we are pausing The Table for the summer months due to many Table-goers, as well as ourselves, partaking in many summer activities and engagements. Have a great summer, and we will see you in September! :)

Tomorrow night we will be exploring many facets of love beyond the simple theme that surrounds Valentine's Day. Bring your friends, guitars, and of course, your conversational enthusiasm!
(I know valentine's day has passed, but there will always be another that we can talk about, in the mean time, greeting card companies will be thrown off if we just spread love EVERYDAY.)
