What a wonderful day! The Southeast Texas Women's Conference went off without a hitch. I truly felt the presence of God. At one point, it was as if the Holy Spirit was just raining down upon us. Thank you first and foremost, God, for this amazing event. Thank you to all the ladies who attended, The comedian, Amanda Hebert, our speaker, Deb Tilley, and the praise team from Jasper House of Prayer. Thank you to the Kirbyville Methodist Ladies for all your hard work in preparing for this event. Thank you to Methodist Men's Ministry for serving us today. It was a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, and laughter. Again, thank you to Our Father in Heaven.

🌷💧 An Update from the Southeast Texas Women's Conference 💧🌷

Dear Beloved Community,

In the wake of the recent floods that have impacted so many homes, businesses, and churches in Kirbyville, our hearts go out to each person affected by this unexpected challenge. As our town begins the process of recovery and the waters recede, we find ourselves at a crossroads of community and faith.

After much prayer and consideration, we've decided to proceed with the Southeast Texas Women's Conference as planned. We believe now, more than ever, is the time for us to come together in unity, prayer, and worship. This conference will not just be an event but a sanctuary for healing, love, and mutual support.

Let us gather not only to uplift each other but to stand as a testament to the resilience and strength found in our faith and community. Together, with God's grace, we can navigate the path of healing and rebuilding.

We invite all ladies to join us in this time of reflection, connection, and renewal. Let’s share our stories, our prayers, and our hopes as we look towards recovery and strength in the face of adversity.

Heavenly Father,

In the quiet after the storm, we come before You, seeking comfort, strength, and guidance. We pray for our beloved town of Kirbyville, for the homes drenched in sorrow, for the businesses bearing the weight of loss, and for the churches that stand as beacons of Your light in these trying times.

Date & Location: April 13th at the Kirbyville Methodist Church, 105 W. Main St. Kirbyville, Texas.

Time: The conference kicks off at 9:00 AM with arrival and a continental breakfast, wrapping up around 3:00 PM after a day filled with engaging sessions and activities.

Food: Prepare to indulge in the legendary Manchac's Chipped BBQ Brisket, a mouth-watering culinary experience provided by Pat Manchac, a local barbecue legend known for his delicious Southeast Texas cuisine.

Speaker: Deb (Boyett) Tilley, with a rich background in Christian counseling and ministry, and experience as a choir and art teacher in Kirbyville, will deliver keynote sessions designed to inspire and empower.

Comedy: Laugh out loud with Amanda Hebert, a Christian comedian who brings a unique blend of humor and motivational speaking to the stage. Her clean, relatable comedy focuses on the joys and absurdities of everyday life.
