Mothers don't give up on your prodigal child or grandchild! God can change the whole situation! God saves those we give up on!

Augustine of Hippo sought to find fulfillment in the things of this world, but everything was empty. Monica his mother prayed for his conversion for 17 years. He was converted and lived during the time of the demise and destruction of the Roman Empire. He wrote the City of God and Confessions.

He wrote over 1,000 different Christian works and was Bishop of Hippo, a prominent port city in North Africa. He was skilled orator and professor of rhetoric. No one man has influenced Christian theology more than him.

There is no I in team! We must work together as a team and be strategic in these perilous times! I thank God for Him giving us people with a servant's heart ❤️ This was so evident Sunday morning as we see the doers serving the Lord and His people. We are blessed with godly people who love God and others! Rivermont Church you are so willing to serve people!

Thank you Jesus for saving us from sin and never leaving or forsaking us! Even when we forsake you!
Thank you Pastor Chad and Shelley for all your hard work for our young people! Thank you so much for those who support Chad and Shelley! The parents of our students! Praying 🙏 for them and supporting them! Teamwork makes the dream work! This was so important and evident Sunday morning!

Thank you Rivermont Church for allowing an old country boy preacher to serve you! I'm not worthy, but God uses me anyway!

When we pattern our thinking after Jesus, we have less of opinion about what we want the church to do and be and more of a Heavenly mindset and mission! We must read God's Word to know what Jesus wants us to do.
