Sometimes the most powerful moments in a worship service occur after the final song has been sung and the benediction has been given.

Here, we witness Pastor Dr. Pamela L. Boyd and the ministers gathered in prayer at the conclusion of service. This sacred moment serves as a reminder that ministry does not end when the service is over. It continues through prayer, intercession, encouragement, and a genuine concern for God's people.

As hands were laid and prayers were offered, the presence of God was evident. These moments of unity and faith remind us that prayer remains one of the greatest gifts we can give to one another.

"Pray without ceasing." – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

May we continue to seek God, support one another, and trust Him to move in every situation.

πŸŽ“ **Congratulations, Graduates!** πŸŽ“

St. John Free Will Baptist Church proudly celebrates the accomplishments of our graduates and scholars as they reach significant milestones in their educational journeys.

We extend special congratulations to our high school graduates:

πŸŽ“ **Dy'Sira Lawson** – Attending North Carolina A&T State University and majoring in Pre-Law.

πŸŽ“ **Kamiya Taylor** – Attending North Carolina A&T State University and majoring in Political Science.

Each of these outstanding students was awarded the **Emma Brock Scholarship** to assist with their college expenses. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future.

We also celebrate our adult graduates who have continued their pursuit of higher education:

πŸŽ“ **Eldress Virginia Koonce** – Graduated from Gap Ministries College of Theology, LLC, earning a **Master's Degree in Theology**.

πŸŽ“ **Brother Justin Grant** – Graduated from North Carolina A&T State University earning his **Bachelor's Degree in Music**.

During this special recognition, Pastor Dr. Pamela L. Boyd offered a powerful prayer over each graduate, asking God's blessings, wisdom, protection, and favor as they enter new seasons of life. Her prayer reminded us that education is not only an achievement but also a ministry opportunity to impact the world for Christ.

To all of our graduates, we commend your hard work, perseverance, and dedication. May God continue to order your steps, open doors of opportunity, and guide you toward the purpose He has ordained for your lives.

**"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." β€” Proverbs 3:5-6**

Congratulations, Graduates! Your St. John Church family is proud of you and will continue to keep you in our prayers.

πŸŽ‰ *Well done, graduates! The future is bright, and God has great things in store for each of you.* πŸŽ‰

St. John Free Will Baptist Church did not only celebrate our high school graduates, but also recognized and applauded our adult learners who have continued their pursuit of higher education. These individuals exemplify determination, perseverance, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Whether earning a degree, certification, or advancing their professional skills, they have shown that it is never too late to invest in your future and fulfill your God-given purpose.

Their accomplishments serve as an inspiration to our youth and our congregation, demonstrating that with faith, hard work, and dedication, educational goals can be achieved at any stage of life. We congratulate each of our adult scholars and pray God's continued blessings upon them as they pursue excellence in all their endeavors.

This addition ties beautifully into the recognition of the Class of 2026 and highlights the importance of lifelong learning throughout the St. John church family.

St. John Free Will Baptist Church proudly recognizes and celebrates three outstanding members of the Class of 2026 as they prepare to embark on a new chapter in their lives.

Two of these scholars proudly represented Kinston High School, while one represented South Lenoir High School. We are especially proud to share that all three students will be attending North Carolina A&T State University this fall as they continue their educational journeys.

In recognition of their hard work, dedication, and academic achievements, each student was awarded the Emma Brock Scholarship to assist with their college expenses. This scholarship serves as an investment in their future and a testament to the community's belief in their potential.

As part of this special recognition, Pastor Dr. Pamela L. Boyd offered a powerful and heartfelt prayer over their lives, asking God's protection, wisdom, favor, and guidance as they transition into this exciting new season. Her prayer reminded us that while these students may be leaving home, they will never leave the presence and care of God.

We congratulate these remarkable young scholars and pray that they will continue to excel academically, grow spiritually, and positively impact every space they enter. May God order their steps and bless them abundantly as they journey into another area of life.

Eldress Lillie Williams offered words of encouragement at the celebration luncheon.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your St. John Church family is proud of you and will continue to pray for your success.

May God bless these students with wisdom, courage, and favor as they begin their Aggie journey. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Youth Sunday

Today, we proudly observed and celebrated our Youth as they took an active role in the worship service. It was inspiring to see our young people serving with excellence, enthusiasm, and a heart for God.

Whether reading Scripture, ushering, singing, greeting, or assisting in various ministries, our youth demonstrated that they are not just the church of tomorrowβ€”they are an important part of the church today.

We thank God for each young person who willingly served and for the parents, leaders, and congregation who continue to encourage and support them. As we invest in our youth, we are building a stronger future for the Kingdom of God.

"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." – 1 Timothy 4:12

We are proud of our youth and look forward to seeing all that God has in store for them!

May God continue to bless and guide our young people as they grow in faith, service, and leadership.

Pastor Boyd preached from Philippians 1:6 with the powerful topic, β€œI Was Built for the Process.”

What a reminder that God is not finished with us yet. Every trial, every delay, every season of waiting, and every challenge is part of the process He is using to shape, strengthen, and prepare us. The same God who began a good work in us will carry it through to completion.

Hold onβ€”you were built for this.
