Pastor Boyd preached from Psalm 46:1, reminding us that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Her powerful message, “Hold on, help is on the way,” served as a timely reminder that no matter what challenges we face, God remains our protector, strength, and ever-present source of help.
After a beautiful baptism service before worship, Dr. Boyd went on to deliver this impactful message that touched many hearts. At the close of the message, numerous individuals came forward to stand in the gap for loved ones who are suffering, recovering, or simply in need of prayer. The broad range of people standing was a moving testament to faith and a powerful reminder for us all to hold on—help is on the way!

Today, St. John FWB Church pauses to thank God for two living testimonies of His healing power—Sister Bo Lenzy and Deacon Tyrone Robinson. Through health challenges and obstacles that only God could bring them through, they have remained strong in faith and endured tests that are true testimonies of His grace and mercy.
While we cannot tell their full story, they surely can if you do not already know it. Their journeys are powerful reminders that God is still a healer, a keeper, and a sustainer.
We salute these faithful members for their strength, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God. Seeing them in worship with us today was truly a blessing and a reminder that God is still in the healing business. To God be the glory for all He has done!

“Tree of Unity” is more than decoration — it is a living symbol of the church family and the Kingdom of God.
Our Tree of Unity reminds us that although we are different, we are divinely connected. Every flower on this tree is unique in color, shape, and season, yet each one belongs to the same tree. In the same way, every member of this church has a different gift, personality, testimony, and calling, but we are all part of one body in Christ.”

Scripture Connection
John 15:5

Jesus said:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches…”

“Branches cannot survive disconnected from the vine. Likewise, we cannot flourish disconnected from Christ or isolated from one another. The strength of the tree is not in one branch alone, but in every branch remaining connected.”

“This tree has many flowers, just like the church has many people. Some bloom in one season while others bloom in another. Some are bright and noticeable, while others are quieter and gentle — but every flower matters to the beauty of the tree. If one flower were missing, the tree would not look the same.”

Everybody is not in the same season at the same time. Some are celebrating while others are healing. Some are growing while others are enduring. Yet God keeps us all connected on the same

“No branch can boast against another branch. The flower cannot say to the leaf, ‘I don’t need you.’ The roots support what the eye cannot see, and the branches carry what the roots produce. In the body of Christ, we all need each other.”

“This Tree of Unity stands in our lobby as a reminder that we are stronger together, more beautiful together, and more fruitful together. Different branches. Different flowers. Different seasons. But one tree rooted
