Today’s Message: “Almost Doesn’t Count”

Pastor Lorraine reminded us today of the power and necessity of our testimony. Our testimony is not just a story of where we’ve been—it is a reminder of what God has brought us through, delivered us from, and brought us into.

Acts 26:28 reinforces just how necessary our testimony is. Someone may be one word, one encounter, or one testimony away from making a decision that could change their life.

Don’t underestimate what God has done for you. Your testimony may be the very thing someone else needs to hear!

It’s In Your Words!

Today, we were reminded of the power of our words through Psalm 19:14:
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.”

Let’s be intentional about the words we speak over ourselves, over our families, and over our future. Our words have power! Scripture reminds us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

So today, choose to speak life, faith, hope, strength, and purpose.
Don’t speak defeat over what God is developing.
Don’t speak doubt over what God has promised.
Don’t speak failure when God has called you victorious.

Watch your words—because what you speak matters!

What Are You Saying?

Today’s Sermon | Proverbs 18:21

Minister Solomon stood flat-footed and delivered a powerful message reminding us just how powerful our tongue truly is.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”

Our words carry power. We can speak life or death over someone, speak life or death to someone, or even speak life or death about someone.

Today’s message challenges us to stop and ask ourselves:

What are you saying?

Are your words building people up or tearing them down? Are you speaking faith or fear? Encouragement or discouragement? Life or death?

Let’s be intentional with our words, because what we say matters.

Minister Brown’s message - The Press

Mark 5:25–30 (The Woman with the Issue of Blood)

This message reminded us of one of the most powerful examples of faith, persistence, and the compassionate power of Jesus. This passage reveals not only what Jesus can do, but also how faith connects us to His power.

Today, we had the joy of celebrating with our church family and friends who joined us from near and far. There is nothing quite like coming together in worship, lifting up the name of the Lord, and experiencing the love and fellowship that unites us.

Following our worship service, we gathered for a good old-fashioned picnic filled with delicious bbq food, laughter, and meaningful conversations. It was a wonderful time of connecting, making memories, and simply enjoying one another’s company.

Day 1 is in the books, and what an incredible start!

What an amazing way to kick off our event! Today, the children had a blast as they learned about Jonah and the Whale through interactive lessons, exciting games, and hands-on activities.

The team-building games challenged them to think, communicate, and work together to accomplish each goal. Watching them encourage one another, strategize, and celebrate their successes was truly a joy!

We are so excited to see what is in store for Day 2 and can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another fun-filled adventure!
