Why are there different colors throughout the church year?

It’s a new school year, and the first party for 36 Southeast students with birthdays in August and September is in the books!!! All of the children enjoyed their cupcakes and snacks. Pastor Kim had a short conversation with and pinned a dollar on each one. We appreciate all of the help we had today! It’s such a blessing for us to see the student’s sweet, happy faces! The next party will be October 1st for all of the students born in October!!!

It’s always such a pleasure to deliver school supplies to the faculty of Southeast Elementary School. Each member of the staff also received a goodie bag to help them start the year. The members of Queen Street UMC overwhelmingly support our Southeast ministry, not only with supplies, but with their prayers and presence throughout the year.
