Back to School season is upon us, and we want to see how the Diocese of East Carolina is marking the beginning of this time in our collective lives!

Whether or not you've sent students out the door and off to school, all of us are impacted by this change in the rhythm of the calendar year and the church year. Through prayer, service, and blessing, we seek to anchor the regular rhythms of our lives to our faith.

From blessing backpacks to collecting school supplies for students in need, to praying for students, parents, teachers, and school personnel, many of our congregations find meaningful ways to mark this transition and remind our communities that God is present in every season of our lives.

We want to hear from you! How is your congregation celebrating and supporting students, families, educators, and school communities as a new school year begins?
