Today we worshiped in faith and pride for Heritage Day, dressed in beautiful attire honoring the richness of Black history and cultural tradition.

As we celebrate Black History Month, we give thanks for the strength, resilience, and legacy of those who paved the way—and we recommit ourselves to carrying it forward with purpose and praise. ❤️🖤💚

Today, our church proudly joined the national Wear Red Day movement to raise awareness that cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death for women. Wearing red is a simple but powerful way to show our commitment to health, education, and care for one another.

We were especially blessed to see our Youth Choir dressed in red, standing as a strong and hopeful reminder that awareness starts early. We also celebrate Mother Parker, our beloved church elder, who so beautifully modeled her red today—showing leadership, wisdom, and faith in action.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us extend this national moment into our church community. Let us continue to encourage healthy hearts, informed choices, and prayerful living—for ourselves and for generations to come.❤️❤️❤️
