Our Story

“During a white out I was trying to get back to my family at the ranch. Driving cautiously west, that lighted, big, red cross cut through the blowing snow. It gave me assurance I was on the right trail.” - 4th generation rancher, wife, mother, disciple of Christ.

From the tar paper shack in 1941 to today’s structure complete with iconic red cross, Sunnyside has been lighting the trail of faith for rural western Wyoming. We are a little country church with big faith that our God can do anything! Ours is one of the thousands of local congregations in the Global Church of the Nazarene. What does that mean?
