As Tropical Storm Edouard brings heavy rain and uncertain weather to some in our area, we encourage everyone to stay weather-aware, use caution, and keep one another in prayer. Storms can be unsettling, but they also remind us that no matter how dark the clouds may seem, God remains faithful through it all. Just as the rainbow appeared after the flood as a sign of Godā€™s covenant, we can look beyond the rain with hope, trusting in His promises and His unfailing love. šŸŒ§ļøšŸŒˆ

ā¤ļø Could a 20-minute heart screening save your teenā€™s life?

Kingwood Church of Christ is proud to host FREE cardiac screenings for Texas teens ages 12ā€“18 on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 9:00 AMā€“1:00 PM.

WellBeyond Foundation, in partnership with Championship Hearts, is helping make potentially life-saving heart screenings more accessible to families in our community. Each screening takes approximately 20 minutes and includes an ECG and limited echocardiogramā€”a screening that could cost around $700 in a cardiologistā€™s office, provided completely FREE to eligible teens.

Many serious heart conditions can go undetected in otherwise healthy young people, which is why early screening can be so important. Advance registration is required, so reserve your teenā€™s appointment today! ā¤ļø
