We all had a wonderful time at our "Friends of God" Christmas Party last night, Thursday December 4. The fellowship, games, and food were all great. It is a blessing to be able to share time with others who are both Christians and our friends.

What a great Monday, November 17, 2025. We listened to a docent talk about the history of the east side of Galveston during the bus tour, including the historic storm of 1900. We visited the Rosenberg Library, watched some historical films and looked at exhibits. We had a chance to look around The Strand and grab some lunch. I enjoyed some shrimp gumbo and fried shrimp. it seemed everyone had a great time.

This week, Monday Sept 8th, we started our annual "Making Toys for the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes" project at church as part of one of our mission outreach programs. Everyone is welcome to come and help with this great project.

Monday mornings, 9am-11:30am. We will make our toys out of wood near room 600. Contact [email protected] for more info.

The trip to the Funeral Museum on January 27, 2025 was very interesting. The exhibits included information about important people of the past, some examples of the evolution of funeral limos over the years, and other areas revolving around this topic. We all enjoyed lunch afterwards.

A look back in time, October 9, 2025, at a social of the Legacy Sunday School class. Everyone had a good time. Some of us got a reminder of how long it had been since we last played Ping Pong.

Couples Date Night, Friday 15, was a fun night. We had a couple of instructors to help us with 2-step dance. We also had light supper (pizza) and a great time with others on and off the dance floor.

The 2nd Wednesday of most months, we have Game Day which includes the choice of playing board games and/or Pickleball, listening to a devotional (this week brought by Mark), lunch, and to play some more games (10:00am-1:30pm).

Today, August 11, 2025, our Varsity group made a trip to the Butler Longhorn Museum in Kemah and afterwards we all had several choices of local restaurants to eat at for lunch. We all had a fun time together and learned somethings about our Texas history and that of the Longhorn cattle.
