VBS Day 4… learning about the Armor of God and the Book of Truth with the Knights of the Square Table at Keepers of the Kingdom Vacation Bible School!! The kids have been donating to feed needy children all week and have almost raised enough to feed 1000 children! Join us for our final day of VBS on Thursday at 6:00 - 8:00

Yesterday a friend sent a puzzle on Facebook that I gave a quick glance and gave my answer. A little while later the friend commented back that my answer was wrong. How can that be? I went back to the puzzle, and sure enough I have not seen the block that would make my answer wrong.
How many times in life do we go off have chocked on something to only find out later we were all wet? I was reading in Revelations 19 this morning, and as good a servant as John was he messed up. Thankfully the Angel did not accept John's praise and guided him in the direction he should go.
"9Then the angel told me, "Put this in writing. God will bless everyone who is invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb." The angel also said, "These things that God has said are true."
10I knelt at the feet of the angel and began to worship him. But the angel said, "Don't do that! I am a servant, just like you and everyone else who tells about Jesus. Don't worship anyone but God. Everyone who tells about Jesus does it by the power of the Spirit."

On Facebook I have been seeing a lot of sunrise and sunset pictures. Each one is an expression of God's awesome love and power for each of us. In Job 26:10 it tells us those sunsets are boundaries that God has set up light and dark. We need to be seeking the light of this world, Jesus, to guide our every day lives. As we enjoy the sunrises and sunsets in our lives we should give thanks to God for all He has done for us.

I heard on the radio today about a new recycling plan that will have recycling police. You will be given a recycling can and periodically the recycling police will come by and inspect your recyclables. If you didn't completely wash each thing you would be sighted (this includes paper plates). I believe this program is defeated before it even gets started.
Jesus started an evangelism program with 72 dedicated believers. He told them don't worry about money, clothes, food or any of your daily needs. Just go and tell the people about the Kingdom of Heaven, heal the sick and all your needs will be met. Those 72 came back so blessed they barely could stand it. That evangelism program still exist today, and the blessings continue to come to those who participate. Learn to Recycle the old self and Rejoice in the new self.

I have always believed that anything wrapped in bacon or chocolate is good. Yesterday I found out that is not so. I love fried dill pickles from Razoo's in Houston, I love bacon wrapped jalapenos from the hunting camp in Blanco and I love the cream cheese icing on the carrot cakes from Kelley's in League City.
Yesterday I decided to bacon wrap dill pickles with cream cheese filling in Kingsville. Like I said, I thought this would be good, but the best I can say is, it is OK. You wouldn't want to write home to momma about it. The pickles overpower all the other flavors.
Last night I was thinking if man will fill himself with the Holy Spirit, wrap himself in Jesus and marinate himself in the love of God it would be greater than anything else experienced. Be sure to serve up a heaping helping to all your friends.
