💐 Join Us This Sunday for Mother’s Day! 💐

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been walking through the book of Habakkuk together and learning how to trust God even when we don’t understand everything around us. It has been such a blessing and encouragement to come together as a church to learn and grow!
Our children have also been having an amazing time in Children’s Church during service — learning about God’s Word in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways made just for them. 💛

Yesterday, our church had the joy of serving at the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) on the Texas A&M University–Kingsville campus. 🍽️

We provided a free, warm lunch to college students as part of our ongoing partnership with the BSM. More than just meeting a physical need, it was a meaningful opportunity to connect with students, encourage them, and build community.

Together, we are committed to supporting both the spiritual and practical needs of students, letting them know they are cared for and supported during this season of life.

We are thankful for everyone who helped serve and for the chance to be a blessing on campus. 💙💛

This past Sunday, we had the joy of celebrating a baptism! 🤍

Baptism is a beautiful outward expression of an inward transformation—a picture of being buried with Christ and raised to walk in new life with Him.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

We rejoice with you, Olivia, as you boldly follow Jesus! ✝️

The Humble Obedience of Christ
On Good Friday we gather to reflect on the humble obedience of Christ. Though He was equal with God, He willingly humbled Himself, taking the form of a servant and becoming obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross. Through Scripture, prayer, and song, we will walk through the downward path Christ took for our redemption.

The Exaltation of the Risen Christ
As the sun rises on Easter morning, we gather to celebrate the exaltation of Christ. The one who humbled Himself to the point of death has now been raised and exalted by God. Because Christ lives, His name is above every name, and all who trust in Him share in the power of His resurrection.

Come worship with us as we reflect, rejoice, and proclaim the hope we have in Christ. All are welcome!

Children’s Ministry Volunteer Training Recap 💛

This past Sunday was such a special and impactful time as we gathered for our Children’s Ministry Volunteer Training!

We kicked things off with a fun icebreaker that had us laughing and connecting as a team—because ministry is always better when we do it together. From there, we shared important information to help equip and prepare each volunteer to serve with confidence, excellence, and love.

One of the sweetest parts of our time was the thoughtful discussions that took place—conversations that will help us continue to create a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment where our children can grow, learn, and experience the love of Jesus.

We are so thankful for every volunteer who said “yes” to pouring into the next generation. Your willingness to serve matters more than you know. Seeds are being planted that will last a lifetime!

We’re excited for all that God is going to do in and through our Children’s Ministry! 🌱✨

What a night to remember at our Married Couples Valentine’s event at TCC this past Saturday ❤️

Even with the storm rolling in and the lights going out for most of the evening, it didn’t take away from the sweetness of the night. If anything, it made it even more special. ✨

We laughed, painted our spouses (which brought lots of fun and creativity 😄🎨), and most importantly, we spent meaningful time fellowshipping with the body of believers. There’s something so beautiful about coming together, encouraging one another, and being reminded of God’s design for marriage. 💕

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

This past Sunday we walked through one of the most powerful passages in Scripture and were reminded of what it truly means to follow Christ:

• We are called to unity through encouragement, love, and humility

• Jesus is our perfect example—He humbled Himself in obedience, even to the point of death on the cross

• Because of His obedience, God highly exalted Him, and one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord

We’re continuing our study through Philippians 2 this coming Sunday, and we’d love for you to join us as we grow together and look more closely at what it means to live out our faith daily.

This past Sunday at Truth Community Church, we began our journey through Philippians by opening Philippians 1:1–11—a beautiful reminder of the joy, partnership, and deep love that flows from the gospel. We were encouraged by Paul’s prayer: that our love would abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, all for the glory of God.

We were also blessed to celebrate a parent/child dedication, committing our families to raise their children in the truth and grace of Christ, surrounded by a church family that supports and prays for them. It was a joyful and meaningful moment for our church body 🤍
