Our 2nd Day of VBS was a HIT!! Our focus was Esther 7 and it teaches us that pride ultimately leads to destruction and that God’s justice prevails, often turning the evil schemes of the wicked back onto their own heads. It also highlights the power of courage, advocacy, and acting at the right moment. We also had a visit from a local community activist, Jeremy Burgess, who spoke about bullying and mentorship. Our word for the day was BRAVE. And don't forget our key scripture, Philippians 4:13. Join us! We can't wait to see you!

Philippians 4:13 reminds us to rely on Jesus for inner courage to face tough times. Just like superheroes get special gadgets or power ups, we have a "power-up" from Jesus. His strength lives inside us to help us be brave and do what is right. Check out this Superman mealtime prayer.

Our first day of VBS was a HUGE success. Our focus was on the story of Joseph and his prophetic dreams. Our key Bible verse was the powerful declaration, Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
