Volunteer opportunity. Jamestown Assisted Living is looking for someone to come one Sunday a month to sing a few songs or share a Bible study with the residents. This is available to anyone.

The From the Heart Food Pantry will have its grand opening on Tuesday November 1st! The food pantry will be open every Tuesday after that from 2pm-6pm. Please keep an eye on our page for updates and volunteer opportunities!

John was writing this because the church had a problem. Not all members were authentic believers. Not surprisingly The church has the same issue today. Those that demand their own way, stir up dissension, and cause divisions, sure don’t act like authentic believers. Those who come to worship, love, forgive, serve, look past, and let the Holy Spirit do the stirring, those are the ones that sound like authentic believers. Which one are you?

Hey church, this is Clint and his Grate Dane medussa. Clint has walked to Washington State and is on his way back to Florida. He is walking to bring awareness to Su***de Prevention. He is camping at the church tonight so if you drive by and see him out there, it’s perfectly okay. I’ve called the Sheriffs department to let them know he has permission to be there. Clint told me he wasn’t needed a single thing on his journey because God has taken care of him the whole way. I was sad to hear that some churches have run him off and he rarely gets invited to church, so I’m glad God made it abundantly clear that we were supposed to meet.

Tomorrow morning at 9am and 11am our congregation will be able to see and read first hand how people that are currently incarcerated feel about addiction. One of these paper people just has a list of friends that have been lost to overdosed. I was asked last week how we stop this and my simple answer was Jesus. Tomorrow morning please join us as we journey through what the Bible says about the stranger.
