We love seeing the next generation learn about and get involved in the ministry at nightlight 💛

We were so delighted and honoured to be presented with a donation cheque from a local youth group in Sarnia! The youth from St. Giles Presbyterian Church visited our Sarnia drop-in centre a while ago and spent the evening touring the centre and learning more about the ministry of nightlight and the needs in the community.

After this visit, the youth decided together to creatively raise funds to be able to donate to nightlight and help them meet the needs of those in their community. The pastor gave each student $20 and challenged them to grow that amount to be able to contribute to the total donation resulting in the youth collectively raising $1,200 for our Sarnia centre!

We are in awe of these students and their compassion and generosity and so encouraged to see the next generation acknowledging the needs in their own community and being moved to act!

Our Sarnia drop-in centre was very fortunate to be able to be part of the event from Temple Baptist Church this past weekend!

We had an incredible team from the church come and provide a service to the ministry by giving our drop-in centre building some much needed love. We are so grateful to the Temple Baptist community and the way they served our ministry through this event 💛

Here is the exciting announcement we promised!! 🙌🏼

This has been many months of praying and planning but we are beyond excited to finally announce that our drop-in centre in Sarnia will be opening up for additional hours on Wednesdays from 6-9pm starting May 1!!!

We are so grateful for the ways the Lord provided the resources necessary to make this happen and we are eagerly anticipating how He will continue to enable us to meet the needs of those in the community!

nightlight would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Bluewater Power for their kindness!

Their generous donation given in support of 'A Week on the Streets' which raised funds and awareness of people struggling in our community, is so appreciated. You have helped us to continue to serve our guests who walk through our doors!

nightlight is a drop-in centre located at 181 Christina Street N. in Sarnia. We provide friendship as well as serve free coffee and snacks. Our mission is to provide "a safe place for meaningful relationships."

We are open Tuesdays 6-9 and Thursdays 1-4.
