As we move past Resurrection Sunday, we continue to strive to keep the Good News of the Gospel front and center in our hearts and minds.

The reality of what Jesus did for us by dying, being buried, and rising to new life again, is the foundation of our faith. Without Christ's work, our faith would be in vain.

But through the eternal planning of the Father, Jesus' great sacrifice and victory gives our lives purpose and equips us with power--the same power that raised Him from the dead.

Has the good news of the Gospel spoken to your heart? Have you responded to Jesus' call on your life?

If so, do you live as if the Gospel is your foundation? Are you ashamed of it or do you know it is your power source?

Before, we talked about how it wasn’t Jesus’s time—and nothing could force it to be.

But now… we see the other side.

When it was His time—nothing could stop it.

Not opinions.
Not fear.
Not human reasoning trying to say, “It’s not time yet.”

Even when people resisted… even when it didn’t make sense to those watching… God said, “Yes, it is.”

Every moment leading to the cross was already set in motion. Prophecies fulfilled down to the detail. The exact time. The exact place. The exact purpose.

And here’s what we can’t miss:

God’s will is Jesus’ will… because Jesus is God.

This wasn’t a plan falling into place by chance.
This was God Himself, in the flesh, walking straight into the will He had already declared from the beginning.

No one could delay it.
No one could cancel it.
No one could stand in the way of it.

Calvary was not taken from Him…
He walked into it—on time, on purpose, in full authority.

And even now… His timing is still unfolding.
Still aligning.
Still being perfected.

Because what looks like the end at the cross…
is not the end at all.

Come tomorrow morning… resurrection morning… we will see the fullness of His perfect timing.

✝️

As we walk closer to Easter, It leads us to be thinking so much about the timing of Jesus.

Nothing about His life was rushed… and nothing was late.

There were moments people wanted Him to act sooner, to reveal more, to step into His purpose quicker—but over and over, we see Him say in different ways… “My time has not yet come.”

Jesus knew His timeline.
Not because He was guessing—but because He was fully aligned with God’s will.

And then… when the time came, He didn’t hesitate.

That’s what should humble us the most.
He knew what was ahead—the suffering, the cross, the weight of it all—and still, He walked forward in perfect obedience.

There’s something so powerful in that for us.

We live in a world that pushes us to hurry, to force things, to make things happen on our timeline. But Jesus reminds us that there is a greater plan… a divine timing… a purpose that unfolds exactly when it should.

So if you’re in a season of waiting…
If you feel like things should be happening faster…
Or if you don’t understand the timing…

Remember this:

God’s will is never late.
And His timing is always perfect.

Just like Jesus trusted the Father’s plan… we can too. 🤍

You don't have to look far to find worldly encouragement.

"You do you."
"Do what makes you happy."
"Follow your heart."

But none of these words of worldly advice will encourage you closer to God. Instead, they encourage you to turn to yourself instead of God.

As Christians, we all need encouragement, but we need the right kind of encouragement. We need to be lifted up by words of wisdom sourced in the One who is the Truth and Light.

In a world that is constantly churning out lies and deception everyday, it can be frustrating to try and figure out what is truth.

But there is One who illuminates through the confusion and gives us THE Truth, Jesus Christ.

The gospel of John said Jesus came down to us with grace and truth. And it is because of His truth that we find freedom from the bo***ge of sin. Until we receive His truth, we live in the lie that we are free. Only the Son can set us free with His blessed Truth.

Good evening!

This week's sermon is part two in the series "An Ally or an Enemy."

In a world where we are exiles, it is important to know who you are aligning yourself with. That's why we shouldn't turn our backs to the wisdom of God's truth, like King Ahab did.

There is danger in following an enemy of God as they can lead us straight to destruction.

Listen to this week's sermon as Pastor Kent uses King Jehosephat's poor example to teach us the importance of discerning between an ally and an enemy.

When Jesus sent His Disciples into the world to do signs and preach the Gospel, He told them out as sheep among wolves. As believers, we no longer belong to this world. But we still must love in the world and share His Gospel with others.

So, how do we know who is a sheep and who is a wolf?

Those who are of the world hold no love for God, and their hate for Him is displayed in disobedience. We should not align ourselves with the enemies of God and allow their hate to influence our spiritual walk.

Today, Pastor Kent takes us back to age of the kings when the faithful King Jehosephat of Judah aligned himself when one of the most wicked kings of Israel, Ahab. Listen along through the link below as Pastor Kent explains how treating an enemy as friend can lead to disastrous results.

With Valentine's Day this past weekend, there is always a lot of talk of love. But what we often consider to be "love" falls short of the agape-type love of God.

God is the source of true love. A love that is unconditional and sacrificial. A love that was demonstrated through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

If we have His love, we should not keep it to ourselves. It should flow out of us in all we do for others. Anything we do in His name that is not based in His love is worthless. When it comes to our personal ministry and spiritual walk, our service should flow from His love.

As Pastor Kent says in his sermon, If I Have Not Love, "If you know the love of God, you are equipped to share the love of God."

Amen.

It can happen so quickly. One moment we are living a life obedient to the will of God, but the next thing we know we've stumbled into sin.

What happened?

We take our eyes off of God.

Just ask Peter what happens when we let the distractions of the world (like the wind and waves of a stormy sea) pull our eyes from the face of the Lord and focus on earthly things. We sink into the dark, murky waters of sin.

Join us this week as Pastor Kent uses the example of the Israelites at Mount Sinai to warn us to Never Take Your Eyes Off of God.

Good afternoon!

Today, Pastor Kent gave the final installment of his series, Godly Ways in Ungodly Days.

In the last few weeks, he has spoken about simplicity, sincerity, sobriety, and sufficiency. Today, he completes the series by addressing a serious issue in the lives of believers: security.

As a follower of Christ, your security should be found in Him alone. There is nothing in this world that is eternal. Nothing that will rescue you from judgment. Nothing that will keep you in the grace of God. Our only hope rests not in this world, but in the promise of His Kingdom.

Click the link below to learn how we can rely on God's Word and His Spirit to give us assurance that His salvation working in our hearts is Rock solid for all eternity.
