As we leave, it’s important to hold close that the community we share and the love we feel isn’t only on these grounds, but in the spirit in all of us. Unfortunately we will never truly understand the impact of the work we did together, but rest knowing we made a difference in every person we were blessed enough to have with us this summer. We will all be connected in faith and I hope that as we all go out in life that we remember we all have family in each other forever.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”

For one unforgettable weekend, we got to be campers again.

We laughed until our faces hurt, celebrated Matt with many trophies, and cheered each other on during open mic night as many hidden talents took the stage. We explored the different stages of life, embraced our inner adventurers on Pirate Day, and made memories we’ll be talking about for years.

But more than anything, this weekend reminded us what real connection feels like… being fully present, sharing stories, encouraging one another, and simply enjoying the gift of being together.

Here’s to friendship, laughter, growth, and never outgrowing the joy of play. 💛💛💛
