Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion born of the Jewish and Christian traditions. We keep our minds open to the religious questions people have struggled with in all times and places. We believe that personal experience, conscience, and reason should be the final authorities in religion. The First Parish Church in Kingston is a dynamic group of human beings of all ages who have come togeth
er to share our individual spiritual journeys toward wholeness and greater understanding, to deal with the mysteries of our common existence, and to make a positive difference in the world, for ourselves and our families, for our community in Southeastern Massachusetts, and in the interdependent web of all beings. Throughout our existence, and as an article of our faith, Unitarian Universalists have evolved through a democratic process to become a non-creedal, inclusive progressive religious community. We are intentionally welcoming of all ethnicities and identities, and individuals and families of all descriptions, adults, youth, and children, who seek to promote health and wholeness in themselves and the world.
