So proud of CIA (Children In Action) we went and passed out flyers tonight inviting people to come to church with us....we even visited a friend from school and made a new furry friend....hope to see some new faces sunday

We want to fellowship with other churches! Friday June 30th we will have worship, food, and a guest speaker. Bring your church, bring a side dish or desert, and bring a friend. We pray together, we worship together, and we carry each others burdens. Friday June 30th at 6:30 pm. We will eat and fellowship at 6:30, and worship will begin at 7pm.

Bring your church (youth groups welcome and encouraged), and let’s come together in unity.

Invitation Worship (Formerly Eye 2 the Sky) will lead us in worship and Kasey Stout will bring the message.

This Psalm tells us what our praise should look and sound like, but do you know why? Well verse 2 gives us the reason. The KJV of verse 2 says “For the LORD most high is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth.”

On the surface this verse sounds a bit contradicting.

How can a king be terrible and great all at the same time.

Terrible comes from the Hebrew word nōrä which means awe inspiring. In other words God is so awesome it will cause you to tremble in His presence.

This is why we should praise Him with loud songs of joy. This is why we should celebrate Him with clapping.

I hope this morning you’ll take a few minutes to sit in His presence and recognize how awe inspiring God truly is.

Don’t forget Sunday morning June 4th is “Invite a friend, and Bring your Bible” day. We will continue our series on 1 Corinthians 16:13 with a message titled “Stay the Course”. Wednesday Night (May 31st) we will dive in to Psalm 47 with a message titled “Worthy of Worship”

Don’t forget From the Heart Food Pantry will be open on Tuesday from 2pm-6pm. Please continue to pray and support that ministry!

Last but not least our next Fellowship Night will be June 30th! Food will be served at 6:30, message at 7pm, and worship to follow. Everyone is welcome!
