Living Waters Freewill Baptist Church Christian Church A small family oriented church. We believe Christ Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. We believe all have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God!

We are all sinners here, and have NOT forgotten our life before Christ. We were drunks, drug addicts, fornicators, adulterers, liars, cheaters, and worse. We know what it is to be without God, and don't condemn those who have not yet found Him!

We all fall and come short of the Glory of God. He who says He is without sin is a liar and the truth is not in him. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Know what you believe. Stand firm on the only solid foundation, Jesus Christ. Know you are not good enough to get to heaven on your own! No no one is!
If you think there are hypocrits in church, just wait til you see Hell.

Ti:2:14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Peculiar in this verse does NOT mean a wierd people. Not a strange people. It means a SPECIAL people. Special to God.
Some of us may be strange because that was how we were made, but that is not what the bible speaks of here. We are not to appear like wierdos, or freaky to people or God. This basically means God loves us. We are each special to Him, if we have accepted the gift of His son, for our salvation.
The good works is not about what we do , but what we want to do. We want to do good if we are His. Not because the Church or Preacher says we have to, but because we want to please Him. Like any loved child wants to please a parent, because they like seeing the smile on the parents face. God smiles on us too, when we want to do good. Even if we fail, He knows we want to please Him and that is what He cares about most. We can't be good anyway, so it is the desire to do good that counts. Any good thing we do is God working through us, not our own doing. So we should not think we are better than another, God is the only GOOD one.

Are you ready to meet the Living God? We are appointed once to die. We can not cross that line. God has given each of us a number of days and hour and minutes and seconds to live. No one can take us a second before that time, and no one can keep us alive a second longer.
Maybe you think you said a prayer once a long time ago, and because of that prayer, Jesus will let you walk into heaven. In the mean time, you aren't going to worry about all that religious stuff. I agree, It isn't about the religious stuff, but it is about our savior and living for HIM. Do you live for an ex that you left along time ago? It is the same with Christ, if you left Him and don't live with Him everyday, He is not going to be there with open arms when you die! It is not about being perfect, ask your spouse how perfect you are? Yet you love each other. Christ loves us as long as we Love Him and talk to Him and continually ask Him to lead us on the way, and forgive our sins, because in someway we do sin daily.!

What does "Christian" mean to you?
Depending upon your relationship with God it could mean many things to you. The defination is :followers of Jesus Christ's teachings. It doesn't mean you believe there was a Christ, the demons in Hell also believe and tremble. It doesn't mean you are an American, most Americans sadly are not true Christians. It doesn't mean you are a member of or go to a church. It doesn't mean the people who you go to when you are in trouble, because you believe Christians are required to help you! It doesn't mean a"Religion" or denomination. "Pure religion is to visit the widows and fatherless". It is not a bunch of people who think they are better than everyone else, they are actually more aware of their own faults than most non-christians. And more understanding of mistakes made in Life. A true Christian will NEVER say he is without sin!

Good Friday and Easter Sunday are just around the corner. Remember the importance of these days to Christians and not yet Christians. Without the death and resurection of Jesus Christ there would not be a Christian religion, but more importantly no chance for salvation. This is not a chance for a paid day off work, or an egg hunt, this is the most Holy days in Christianity. Remember what Christ did for each of us at this time, and if you have not yet accepted Him as your personal savior this would be the perfect time. Also, as always, we will have Sunday service on Easter. We would love for you to join us.

There is a way that seems right, but the end there of is distruction! In our own way of thinking some things seem right or feel right, but by God's word are not right. It feels right to seek revenge, but it is not right. It seems right to try to not hurt someones feelings by telling them a lie, but it is never right to lie.
Only by hearing and studying what God has to say, can we know what is truely right. If we have not received the salvation of Christ and the guidance of The Holy Spirit, no matter how often we call His name, No matter how good we try to be on our own,He will deny us in the end.

Do not be fooled by Satan and his lies. If we do NOT stand for God now, we will not have the right in this country for very long. If you can't stand for His word now, do you really believe you will be able to stand when your life is at stake? When you can't buy food for your self or your children?

There is a rumor going around that their should be no religion in Government. This is one of the biggest lies Satan has spread in the last century. Unfortunately for America this lie has been accepted all the way to the highest courts in our country, and is used against the American people every time the Government wants to follow a pagan or athiest belief. True Christians are few these days. But do not think Satan has won. Stand firm in your beliefs, seek God daily and pray without ceasing. When we go to the polls to vote for our leaders, we should put our trust in God. Elect a God fearing man and God will take care of the rest. As Paul said, there is NO law against anything that Christ taught.

Love your neighbor, as yourself. Always remember that every person you meet, no matter how mean or cruel, could be a brother or sister in Christ with one prayer. That is what God sees, and what we should look for. Had it not been for grace we would all be heading to eternal damnation right now.
