Christ Bible Church (CBC) is a Confessionally Reformed Baptist Congregation in the heart of East Tennessee whose #1 priority is to glorify God in all that we do! Our city is filled with people with little to no faith at all and our desire is to remedy that by living and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. We trust that He is more than able to transform lives, communities, and even nations!

By transform we don't mean a one-time experience, joining a church, or filling out a decision card. The true Christian life is a life-long pursuit of knowing Christ on a more personal level! At CBC we plan to cultivate Christ-followers by placing a high value on the Preaching of the Word, Biblical Worship, Personal Growth, World Evangelism, and Fellowship with other Believers! We believe when these areas are given attention God will be glorified through the lives of His children and Christ will build His church! Our Vision and prayer at CBC is to see the lives of the people in our communities changed by the gospel message and continually growing under the influence of churches just like Christ Bible Church! Our prayer is to be an instrument of God’s grace used to lead people to salvation as well as assist them in their daily lives to honor God and grow together! We trust that you'll find CBC to be a haven of rest for troubled souls and at the same time a training center equipping soldiers to fight good fight of faith! Servicd Update (2/1)

Hello Church,

Considering the combination of continued snow, icy roads, frigid cold temperatures, etc., we will NOT be having service tomorrow (2/1). With that said, in light of the circumstances we want to encourage you to set apart the Lord's Day in your homes with your family. Men, we want to encourage you to set aside time to worship with your family. It could be something as simple as singing, a short Bible reading, explanation and application of the passage concluding with prayer. You could also listen to a sermon together as a family. We've linked a few options below for your convenience and blessing if you so desire.

Our fellowship dinner and member reception will be moved to next Sunday (2/8).

We are praying for you! Be safe. Use discernment with traveling. If you have any needs, please reach out. There are many folks ready to serve.

Service Update 1/25

Hello Church,

Considering the weather is trending toward cold, snow, and icy rain all night, we are canceling the Sunday School hour for the morning (Sunday, Jan. 25th). We WILL remain on schedule for our worship service @10:30am. With that said, we want to encourage everyone to be safe. We know some of you live in much more rural areas where the road conditions may be worse than other areas. Thus, if you make the decision to forgo in-person gathering for safety reasons, we understand. For those folks who are providentially hindered, please remember to join us on sermonaudio for our livestream. If anything changes, we will update you in the morning. We love you all and are praying for you!
