Southeast Community Church We live to make disciples who make disciples At Sunday morning's 10am service, we study God’s Word through the expository teaching of Pastor Steve.

The Bridge (elementary) and Bridge Kids (birth-PreK) meet during this time to learn Scripture Truth directed to their stage of development. It is a heartfelt time of worship to glorify God for the whole family. Tuesdays at 6pm, Middle & high school youth meet for Reach. The students enjoy a time of friendship, expository teaching, and connection through small groups. Our prayer is that people find

It takes a lot of hands to make ministry happen, and we are so thankful for every person who faithfully uses their gifts to serve God and others.

Some serve on stage. Some serve behind the scenes. Some welcome you at the door, care for our kids, prepare a cup of coffee, or step in wherever there’s a need. Every role is different, but each one plays a part in helping us share the love of Jesus with our church and our community.

Today, we thank God for each of you and the heart you have for serving His Kingdom.

This week in The Bridge, we learned that we are free from sin!

Through the story of Paul’s journey to Damascus in Acts 9, we learned how God opened Paul’s eyes to the truth of Jesus Christ and completely changed his life.

When we accept Jesus, we are free from sin’s penalty, sin is no longer our ruler, and we have the Holy Spirit to help guide us as we grow in our faith. And one day in Heaven, we will be free from the presence of sin completely!

These are big truths for our kids to understand, and they give us a great opportunity to continue the conversation at home.

Take a few minutes this week to ask your child what they learned on Sunday. Talk together about what it means to be free from sin and how the Holy Spirit helps us follow Jesus each day.

This week in The Bridge, we learned that we are growing in Christ!

Through Jesus’ teaching about the vine and the branches in John 15, we learned that just like a branch needs to stay connected to the vine in order to grow, we need to stay connected to Jesus. Growing in Christ isn’t about trying harder to be perfect or always getting everything right, it’s about staying close to Him and allowing Him to work in our lives.

And the best part? Growing in Christ is something we can do together as a family!

Take a few minutes this week to ask your child what they learned on Sunday. Talk about some ways your family can stay connected to Jesus and continue growing in your faith together.
