In just 6 days, our Germany Missions Team will be traveling to Greifswald, Germany, to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

As they prepare to go, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Please pray:

• That the people of Greifswald would be receptive to the Gospel and that God would prepare their hearts to receive His Word.

• That the Lord would provide opportunities for the congregation of Nordlicht church to build relationships in the community.

• That the team would walk in humility, love, and boldness as ambassadors for Christ.

• That they would be an encouragement and support to Paul and Amber as they serve in Germany.

• For safety, health, and God’s protection throughout the trip.

• For clear communication and Christ-centered relationships that point others to Him.

We are grateful for your prayers as we seek to make disciples and share the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Did someone say Father’s Day burritos? 🤩 We’re honoring the men this Sunday with burritos, cold sodas, and games out on the Green! It may be a sweet or hard Sunday for each of us, but we’re in it together. Check out an important heads up for Next Gen:

⭐️In June and July we will be trying out Family Worship!
⭐️Check in your Nursery-3rd graders as normal at the Kids Center but take the Nursery-PreK to their classes and take the K-3rd graders with you into service for worship.
⭐️Take the 4th-8th graders directly into the Worship Center with you!
⭐️After the worship set, we will dismiss K-8th to the back foyer to meet their leaders and go to their age group classes. 4th-8th will check in at their classes.
⭐️Pick up as normal!

Have you heard? June-July we’re having Sunday Service at 9:30am 🌞 To kick the summer off, we’re celebrating NEXT GEN SUNDAY tomorrow. Nursery-3rd is available, but 4th-8th graders will go into service with their families since it’s a special service. Come see Next Gen serve God and let’s posture our hearts to continue to commit rallying behind them!

Here’s our heart for the service time change… let’s squeeze in to gather under one roof to seek God to increase relationships and unity. We’ll prepare to be stirred up as we anticipate for the Lord to continue to bring more people who are searching for the hope of God and go back to two services in August. See you Sunday!

Meet the missions team going to Germany! 🇩🇪

This group is excited to travel to Germany and help share the Gospel with the people of Greifswald. During their trip, they will be assisting with outreach activities in local parks, building connections within the community, and inviting people to Nordlicht Church.

If you would like to support this mission, there are still some supplies needed for activities in the park. You can help by purchasing items from our Amazon wish list. Every item purchased will be shipped directly to Germany and used to support the ministry and outreach efforts there.

We’re celebrating our 125th birthday this Sunday! 🥳 Meet us at the Kingsburg Historical Park at 10am for a Family Service followed by good ol picnic fun for all ages. Bring a lawn chair/blanket, cookies for the cookie contest, and family/friends 🌟 Our desire for this Sunday is that God would receive glory for his faithfulness to our local church for 125 years and for the church body to leave stirred with courage to live with faith that God will continue to be faithful! Our role is to be obedient and follow His leading as He continues to blow our minds with His mercy and goodness!

May 2026 be a year of slowing down to worship Jesus and be diligent disciples together 🌟 Our prayer is that every one of us would either catch God’s heart for commitment to the local church weekly or continue to lean in deeper to their commitment so Jesus would receive the praise he is worthy of, more people would be saved by Jesus, and the Church would be a light for the world!!
