Serving Jesus & Others: The Firstkidz Ministry began in July 2013 with VBS & we could never have imagined the impact it would have on our children, workers & leaders. God was preparing us for the new Engage service that we launched September 2014. He knew long before we did the need for a thriving children's ministry. All of our workers have been with us since the beginning & have grown to love each of your children with all of their hearts. Our kids ministry has grown to the point that we are adding classes, making changes to ensure the safety of each child & switching some things around to make the process flow! These are wonderful problems to have!! With that being said, with growth comes the need for additional volunteers! We need volunteers in all areas of our children's ministry! We need classroom workers, base camp help, actors for the live skits that we put on each Sunday, & we have an immediate need for workers in the birth-23 month old nursery. We also have an immediate need for several workers in our 2 & 3 year old classes. Please pray & ask God where He would have you to serve! Contact Debra Williams at (704)473-9166 or (704)739-4266. There is also a sign up sheet at the Next Steps table. Please note that you do not have to have children in the children's ministry to serve. We welcome both ladies & gentlemen, couples are also welcome! You must be 18 to teach, or at age 15 can be paired with an adult if you are called to serve. Don't forget we will not have Firstkidz tomorrow. We want all the families to spend time together in our 1 and only service tomorrow at 11:00 in the Engage building. Have a Merry Christmas!

We had an awesome Submerged, Vacation Bible School this past week! 60 plus kids and 40 plus worker's. Three of our kids gave their hearts to the Lord! Thank you to eveyone involved for a great VBS. We look forward to seeing you all in FirstKidz this morning for our Pirate Series! Check-in begins at 9:30 this morning!
