Long Creek Youth Group is back in session!!

Starting this Wednesday YOU are invited to bring your kids. Dinner will be provided as well as a fun and insightful evening meticulously planned by Pastor Will!

Over the next couple of weeks we have quite a few guest speakers planning to come to Long Creek. This will make for a fun and creative learning environment as we make our way through the end of the year 🥰

Classes offered;

Pre K-2nd grade (we kindly ask that the little ones are potty trained before attending)
3rd-5th grade
Middle school +

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for our youth over the next couple of months! Whether you’re a new (or familiar face) we hope you will join us ❤️

A fantastic last day for our music program and an even better evening for ice cream! 🍦 we are so proud of our kids for doing such a great job tonight (and all week) with their songs and participation!

Parents thank you for sharing them with us all week and for contributing to our offering competition with the kids! Our final numbers were as follows:

Boys: $402.50
Girls: $276.03

Regardless of outcome, we are thrilled to be able to assist Tryon Elementary School with school supplies and clothes for their clothing closet for a successful year ahead!

PARENTS! It doesn’t stop at Bible school! You are encouraged and welcomed to our church every Sunday at 11 am. We would love to have you and your families here with us every week ❤️

Final day 🥹 Pizza night! 🍕

We can’t believe it’s already the final day of classes!

Tomorrow we will have our music program. Parents please have your kids here at 6:15. We will meet in the fellowship hall and the program will start at 6:30.

Join us for ice cream and refreshments to follow for a Long Creek style celebration of another incredible week of VBS.

Our current offering competition is at:
Boys: $238.98
Girls: $174.00

The girls still have one more night to try to take the lead!! 🏁

Night 4!

Build your own nachos! Homemade guacamole and queso!! Glitter jello, homemade pudding cups, and alllllllll the cookies to choose from?! Whew we were stuffed! 🌮🍪

Our kids brought the energy again tonight during assembly- we have a great group this year 🤩

Makes our hearts so happy seeing all these kids listening to Bible stories, taking turns reading out of bibles, and reciting verses. Our teachers are making such an impact. 🥰

Don’t forget! Friday is our music program so plan to be here and see first hand what these kids have been working on all week 🎶 We will have ice cream + cookies + refreshments to follow.

Day three was electric ⚡️ These kids really brought the energy 🤪

Dinner + dessert were out of this world 🌎 Crafts were so creative 🎨 and we had the most fun with music and skits!

Our teachers are working diligently to pour into the hearts and minds of these students as we all grow closer to Jesus ❤️ We are so grateful for the hours logged to make this a successful week!

Night two was a great success!!

Did you know we take up offering every night during assembly? Each child has the opportunity to drop money in the offering bin on their way to class time. (If your child needs something to drop in the offering bin please reach out to a staff member and we will make sure they have something)

This year all proceeds will go to Tryon Elementary to help with school supplies and stock their clothing closet!

The best part about it? We have a friendly competition going between the boys and girls 😉

Boys: $54.38
Girls: $30

Tune in tomorrow to see if the girls were able to take the lead or if the boys will continue to hold their spot! 🏆

Wow what a fantastic first day! 💫

We sang, crafted, and learned about how Jesus is the light of our world 🌎

Hats off to our kitchen for providing a delicious meal with plenty of options for adults down to our tiniest eaters!

Our craft team worked endlessly to ensure that everyone got to participate in all the activities too!

We are looking forward to day TWO! If you’re new here now is the time to join us!! ❤️
