The ladies of Long Creek had a wonderful time at their annual birthday celebration! It was an evening of great fellowship and fun.

They enjoyed a baked potato and salad bar, a craft, and meaningful time together.

We are so grateful to have been able to celebrate the mission and ministry that was supported through our birthday offering 🎈

Thank you to all who prepared the evening as well as those who attended! ❤️

Eighty participants gathered for our PW Spring Gathering on April 18 at Long Creek Presbyterian Church in Kings Mountain.

This historic congregation was the perfect place to meet as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our country. Long Creek welcomed PW with lilies, and lovely tables in Fellowship Hall. Lynne Noble from Reems Creek-Beech and Nann King from Long Creek shared stories and photos from their recent trip to Guatemala, and everyone got to meet Sarah Brown, the new Microloan chair. Brian Smith from Long Creek talked about the history of the church as it related to the history of the United States, and he shared wonderful anecdotes about the church's past.

Thanks to Deborah Gibson and Doris Jenkins for the beautiful music.

Long Creek chose the Cathy Mabry Cloninger Center, which provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence, as the offering recipient. The offering totaled $1769.00.

Many thanks to everyone who helped prepare the church and the church grounds.
