Women's Community Bible Study

Unfortunately, our September Bible study is canceled due to a covid case in the house and forced quarantine for 2 weeks. I would postpone for a week, but have to be at work the following Saturday. God has been giving me some awesome things to share with you all, so I hope you all plan to be with me the first Saturday in October to continue our study in Ephesians 6. Love you all and God bless!

For such a time as this.
Jeremiah 1:5 affirms that before God formed you in your mother's womb, He had a plan for your life. The time He chose for you to be born was not a random thing. He needed you to live your life at this specific time to fulfill a purpose that He has for you. Now, don't let this put a burden on you. It easily could. We have an enemy that looks for every opportunity to discourage us. He will tell you that you have missed it, that you haven't prepared enough, that you have made wrong choices that have put you in a place outside of this will. Instead, let this be a blessing to you! Let it encourage you! Look around you for what God is wanting to do. Pray. Listen to His Spirit's leading. Know that God isn't surprised by any of the choices that you make. In fact, He knew before He formed you in that womb that you would make those choices. He worked them into His plans. Romans 8:28-29. Recognize that He will equip you for everything He calls you to do. Hebrews 13:21.
I had a little surprise health issue pop up last week which led to a doctor's appointment that I left work early for today. Though it wasn't something that I planned for, it wasn't a surprise to God. Coming home early gave me opportunity to sit here and type this post. I thank Him for giving me a word that I pray is what someone needs to hear. Seems like something small, but I know from experience, God has led others to write things that have hit me straight in the heart. Be available. Be willing. He has plans to use you. And at such a time as this, we need each other more than ever. God loves you, my blessed sisters! And so do I!

As a mother, do you ever look back and wonder if you have done all and said all you should have so God can fulfill His will in the lives of the children He has entrusted to you? Do you ever have regrets? Wish for a do-over? I can say "yes" to all of these. As I was reading this morning the prophecy in Luke 1 that the angel was giving to Mary about Jesus, I began to wonder what her thoughts must have been while watching Him being crucified. Was she wondering if she had not said something she should have? Did they not have Him in the right place at the right time so that God could raise Him up as king over His people and set Him on David's throne? She didn't know the whole picture. She must have thought His death was the end. Let's be encouraged by this. God knows the big picture for each of our children and won't stop pursuing them. He can take anything we may not have done perfectly and still use it. In fact, when He entrusted them to us, He knew we wouldn't be perfect. He loves our children more than we do. Hard to fathom, but so very true. Point them toward Jesus every day, pray for them, and trust God to do the work. God bless you all!

Hi Sisters!
In order to do our part in trying to protect the health of those we love, we will not have our monthly Bible studies at least until the stay at home order is lifted.

I want to encourage you in a few things for a time like this.
Use this time when everyone is encouraged to slow down to spend time with God, to spend time with your families, and to find creative ways to build your friendships. Check on each other. Encourage one another. Find ways to glorify God and to share the love and hope that He has given us.

I love you all and am praying that you keep your eyes on Jesus and be confident that God is in control - even when we cannot see. He has the big picture in mind. We only see a small speck on the timeline of HisStory.

Next Saturday, ladies! Pray for each other this week. If someone tries to ask if you can do something next Saturday morning, tell them you already have plans :) Looking forward to moving into Genesis 3 with all of you! One of the most pivotal -if not THE most pivotal- moments in man's history. Stand firm. See you then!

As we get up and get ready for church, let's remember our worth comes from the breath God breathed into us... Not the physical bodies He gave us to use. We don't seek man's approval but we live to bring God glory and pleasure. Worship Him this morning in spirit and truth. Love you all!
