💙Today is the last day of General Conference. North Carolina would like to thank our delegation chair, Heather Grabbs and Vice Chair Rev. Kari Howard for their leadership and all the work that they have done on behalf of our conference.

💙On Friday, the General Conference held elections for various General Church commissions and councils. Three people from North Carolina were elected. Congratulations to Tammy Stott elected to the Connectional Council, John Howard elected to the Conferences Commission and Lindsay Clark elected to the Finance, Administration, Pension, and Health Benefits commission.

A HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE GLOBAL METHODIST CHURCH ✨

With overwhelming support, the 2026 General Conference has OFFICIALLY ADOPTED the Articles of Faith, affirming our Wesleyan heritage and establishing a shared expression of the faith that unites us in Jesus Christ.

Together, these Articles speak to who we are, what we believe, and the faith we carry forward as one global connection.

May we hold fast to this faith, walk together in the power of the Holy Spirit, and faithfully proclaim Jesus Christ to a world in need of His grace. 🙏🌍
