St. Maximilian Kolbe is often known for giving up his life for another man in the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. But this saint also had an incredible, deeply personal devotion to the Eucharist.
⁣
He once said that “Eucharistic Adoration is the greatest power in the universe, capable of transforming us and changing the face of the world.” And he also introduced perpetual adoration at the Niepokalanów monastery in Poland.
⁣
Today, let us ask St. Maximilian Kolbe to pray that each of us will gain a deeper love and recognition for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist.
