In the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John we get the clarity we need regarding Jesus’ true identity, His compassion and the work He accomplished. As the incarnate Son of God, Christ Jesus was the perfect reflection of God the Father in the world while not being the Father. This is clearly shown in the opening verses of the book of Hebrews where Christ Jesus is being declared (Heb. 1:1-3a).

“In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, …”

It was to the southwest in the region of the Decapolis that Jesus fed a multitude for a second time, and the lesson for His disciples was to be clear. He is the Savior of the world, and “Everyone Is Invited!” There is always room at the table!

THE LIFE of CHRIST (Lesson 94, Mt. 15:21-28 & Mk. 7:24-30)
In these passages, we learn about a Gentile woman who refused to give up and begged Jesus to heal her daughter. It was to this woman Jesus said, you have “Great Faith!”. What Jesus said about her is not to be overlooked. He was openly recognizing her decision to put all her trust in Him to do the incredible, and she was rewarded!

It has always been faith that God is looking for! That is dependence upon Him for his grace and mercy.

Like the Pharisees and teachers of the law of Jesus' day, we too can hold on to our own rituals and traditions and set aside the Word of God. We can start to truly believe that following a certain list of rules can make us clean before a holy and righteous God. Truly, the consequences of unbelief are staggering! Deliverance from sin and the self-life is found in Christ alone!

CELEBRATING THE GOODNESS OF GOD!
Sunday, September 8th, Hualapai Mountain Park Area 1 starting at 10 am.

In American culture, celebrations are common. There isn’t anything wrong with celebrating birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries and great accomplishments. But this
Sunday, we’ll not be celebrating something we have accomplished or attained! No!! Our celebration will be one of looking at the goodness, graciousness and greatness of God. We are excited to take this time to reflect on what it means to take our hands off and trust God to do the incredible. The Bible has many powerful stories of what God did for those who trusted Him, and He has done the incredible for us, too. Yes, God is still in the “business” of doing the impossible for His name sake! Let’s continue to trust Him because He will never forsake those who put Him first!

So, we’ll not have a service this Saturday, September 7th at Kingman First because on Sunday, September 8th we’ll gather at Area 1 in Hualapai Mountain Park at 10:00 am for a message and a meal. The church will supply hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. Please bring a side dish or desert to share if yo can. See you there!

HOW YOU LIVE MATTERS!
As the second year of Jesus' earthly ministry was getting started, He delivered one of His most famous sermons on a mountainside near Capernaum in Galilee (Mt. 5:1). In His 'Sermon on the Mount' (Mt. 5-7), Jesus made it abundantly clear that what the religious leaders of Israel taught and how they functioned was not in line with His kingdom (Mt. 5:20). Fearlessly, Jesus addressed real life issues and boldly taught the crowd that how you live matters!

SEEK FIRST! (Matthew 6:33)

NBF officially began on August 20, 2023 in the Hualapai Mountains, and God has continued to take care of us and move us forward. Our desire is that we will faithfully look to God and wait upon Him for all He has for us. Ultimately, it’s only when we’re putting God first, seeking His kingdom and His righteousness that we will move forward and worry will not take us captive. Let’s be those who seek God first and continue to move forward courageously knowing He will take care of everything else in the best way!

As we discussed last week at our Annual Meeting, we are together considering the opportunity to move forward with the purchase of property and building our own facility. Of course, this is something we can only do in unity, and we look forward to your input!

When sin enter the human race (Gen. 3), disease and death came in like a flood. Human suffering is real, and Christ Jesus didn’t ignore people’s physical needs. The healings we read about in the gospels were truly a fulfillment of prophecy. As the sacrifice for sin at Calvary, Christ Jesus won the ultimate victory over disease and death!
