Are we crazy for taking 31 people all the way to Kentucky? Absolutely. Was it worth every second to see God come to life for 25 of our youth kids? 💯 yes, no question.
We had the AMAZING opportunity to take our Lighthouse 180 Youth Group to both The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter and it truly was a trip of a lifetime for these teens! They were able to experience the magnitude and awe of their Creator, as well as just have a blast with each other. As youth leaders and helpers, it was our honor and privilege to be able to witness this. We had lots of good, deep conversations with many of them, and engaged them in lessons each morning about the places we were going. A local church hosted us (shout out to The Mount for being SO amazing to us and being a safe place to rest our heads), and God literally worked out each part of this trip to make it happen. We are so incredibly blessed!
