Are you an older adult looking for a way to volunteer and serve your community? Retired or still working - doesn't matter. King Senior Center is putting together a Volunteer Fair where you can learn more about volunteer opportunties, even if it's on your lunch hour. One day a week, one day a month, or maybe more - these local agencies are eager to share information with you. You do not have to make a commitment. You can just pick up information and contacts and consider where you might find your purpose and help our community!

King Senior Center is located at 107 White Rd, lower level of King Recreation Acres Community Building. Entrance in the back of the building. For more information, call the Center at 336-983-0751.

We’d like to thank the King Chamber of Commerce for a beautiful time at their Annual Awards Banquet.

Matthew 25 was honored to receive The 2026 Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award. ✨

We are incredibly thankful for the folks who have given so much to serve “some of the least of these” in our community.

With no paid staff, we were able to operate our Winter Warming Station for almost 70 nights this year, not to mention other needs met year round through our Drop-In Center.

We are so thankful for the ones who attended the banquet and for a vast amount of our community who have been a part of helping restore lives through this ministry.

God’s grace is undeniable. ♥️

💈We will have a free haircuts during this time

🥘We are also in need of a volunteer(s) to prepare a meal for our guests

👉🏼 feed roughly 16-20 people
👉🏼 deliver at 4:00 pm
👉🏼 use the side entrance where you will meet our volunteer Ashley for assistance
👉🏼 feel free to stay and fellowship with us!

We want to share an important update with our community.

The congregation of Place of Prayer Church has officially concluded its time at 102 Charles Road. We are grateful for the impact and ministry they have had and wish them many blessings in their next chapter.

We are also excited to announce that Turning Point Church will now be moving into the building! We look forward to the continued use of this space as a place of worship, fellowship, and service to the community.

It is important to note that we, Matthew 25 Outreach, will continue to operate as usual in the same location.

Please join us in welcoming Turning Point Church and supporting them as they begin this new season.
We are excited to see what God has in store!
