The Mission of Capella is Love God, Grow Together and REACH the World. Kenny and Amy Barnes are in Gualan, Guatemala this week on the first of three international mission trips planned for our Capella people this year. Please be in prayer for the Barnes and their team. Pray that the seeds planted this week will continue to grow and produce a great harvest for the Lord!

Shining the light of Jesus can happen in simple ways.

Several years ago on a mission trip with American Indian Christian Mission, the girls loved painting people's nails on a bus where local activities were being held - it was something they lit up doing and laughed the entire time.

They convinced the men in our group to come to their "nail salon" - and they laughed as children should laugh during that time - while everyone got their nails painted.

These men planted small seeds by doing this simple activity.

Seeds of love through Jesus - in an environment that can be very dark for them.

This Sunday is our Faith Promise Sunday, which is a way our congregation members actively support mission work - locally, across the U.S., and internationally.

We will have a special guest from ARM Prison Outreach to share more about their ministry and how individuals make all the difference in reaching those who are incarcerated with Bible studies, baptisms, and more.
