Do you spend time daily building up your spiritual muscles?

As Christians, we don't automatically become spiritually strong just because we accepted Christ.

We need to read, study, understand how to apply to our daily lives.

Let's all be intentional about WHAT we put into our hearts. Read alone or get involved in a study group!

The world is getting more challenging to decipher the truth - this is how you guard yourselves and build yourself stronger.

Could we ask you to pray along with our congregation as our pastor and another church member join a few other folks from First Christian Church - King for a 2-week mission trip to Papua New Guinea?

They will leave this weekend, and it's a very long trip to a very small island (which includes a long canoe ride) - so please pray for safety, strength, and opportunities to shine throughout the trip.

The group will be connecting with a missionary team upon arrival and will be helping to support the building of an assembly hall area on-site at the missionary's location as well as spreading God's word.

Let's keep them in prayer over the next few weeks as they step out in faith to serve.
