When man, under the powerful action of the Truth of God, takes his place as a sinner, God can, in the exercise of Grace, take His place as a Saviour, and then every question is settled, for the Cross having answered all the claims of Divine Justice, Mercy’s copious streams can flow unhindered. When a Righteous God and a ruined sinner meet on a Blood-sprinkled platform, all is settled forever — settled in such a way as perfectly glorifies God, and eternally saves the sinner.

This hit me hard today from my devotion. Nevermind the scribes what saith the Scripture? We often look to other people or other things for guidance, but have we once thought about what does scripture say, what does God say about the situation you might be going through. Man may say you are going to die, but God says I have come to give you life and life more abundantly. Consult scripture. Let God be true and every other man a liar!

Many have the erroneous idea that if they claim to have Faith in Christ, this covers their wayward direction. It doesn’t! Jesus saves us from sin, not in sin!

There is an immense difference between Justification and Sanctification. The one is Christ fighting for us; the other, the Holy Spirit fighting in us. The entrance of the new nature is the beginning of warfare with the old.

The Manna was so precious that it could not bear contact with the Earth. It fell upon the dew and had to be gathered before the Sun came up. This teaches us that yesterday’s blessings will not do for today, nor today’s for tomorrow. Thus must the Christian feed upon Christ daily as He reveals Himself in the Scriptures.

I thought i would give you an update/ praise report

You stood with us and prayed that things with our baby's case would soon be finalized well we go to court next Thursday to sign custody papers and close the case and our baby is officially ours.
