As we enter the first week of the World Mission Offering, our prayer focus is for Iberoamerica and the Caribbean. IM Area Director Adalia Gutierrez Lee asks us to join her in this prayer:

God of love and mercy,

In these times of great uncertainty, we continue affirming the hope that compels us to keep preaching—through both deeds and words—in all the countries of Latin America, where dispossession, injustice and fear prevail.

We pray for every leader currently preparing through the Master of Theological Studies Latino/a program. May you provide the means for them to finish their training. We pray for the girls and their mentors in the Talita Cumi Clubs. May you guide their steps along the path of life. And we pray for the indigenous communities where RECONPAZ supports those who safeguard your creation, so that together we may learn to care for it.

Amen.

In the wake of yesterday’s historic flooding in Nepal, International Ministries (IM) is responding with $10,000 in One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) emergency disaster relief funds to support our partners as they provide food, shelter, and emergency supplies to those most affected.

As relief efforts begin, IM's Area Director for East and South Asia remains in close communication with our partners in Nepal to assess needs and coordinate support.

🙏 Please join us in prayer:
• For families who have been displaced, lost loved ones, or seen their homes destroyed.
• For first responders searching for survivors in collapsed homes and buildings.
• For the restoration of electricity, clean water, and communication systems, and protection from potential health crises.
• For long-term recovery efforts, wisdom for leaders, and resilience for communities as they rebuild.

As an inaugural member of the Global Baptist Mission Network, International Ministries continues to affirm the value of global partnership in mission — building relationships, learning across contexts, and serving together with Baptist mission organizations around the world.
