Today at New Life Community Church, we practiced a different kind of resistance—we rested.

Through coloring, painting, games, puzzles, good food, laughter, and fellowship, we made space to breathe, connect, dream, and simply be. Rest is not laziness. Rest is community care. Rest is sacred. Rest reminds us that our worth is not measured by productivity, and our bodies were created for more than labor.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Family & Friends Day as we embraced the truth that rest is a gift, a right, and a pathway to wholeness.
