On Behalf of the Ministers, deacons and members of Gethsemane Baptist we send heartfelt condolences to the family of Rosetta Carter. Funeral services are below.

Carter, Rosetta, 82, passed away to be with the Lord, June 12, 2023, at her residence in King William. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, 2 p.m., at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in King William. Friends may call at the church Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday 1 hour prior to service.

We fully recognize that CDC has relaxed the restrictions,
but please be advised that MASK are required at all times.
Your Nose and Mouth Should Be Covered!
Please follow instructions as posted in the buildings.

We send Love, blessing and prayers to our Associate Minister Robert Wormley and family in the passing of his brother Jake. Funeral arrangements are posted below.

Jacob Roosevelt Wormley. Jr., 95, of Tappahannock departed this life on May 24 in Richmond.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 6 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 155 St. Johns Church Rd., Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor.

The service will be live streamed via St. John Baptist Church's page.
