Dear Church Family,

As a new school year begins, we want to take time during tomorrow’s service to pray especially for our students, teachers, and school administrators.

We also have a free gift for each of them as a small expression of our love and encouragement. Please join us and invite the students and educators in your life as we ask God to bless, strengthen, and guide them throughout the coming school year.

This sweet lady, along with her late husband, Forest, have blessed our church, our ministry, and our lives for years. Their deep love for God and knowledge of the Word of God is second to none. She will be moving in with her family soon and attending church with them. It’s a great move for her, but a sad move for all of us. Today we didn’t say “goodbye” we said “see you soon.” We love you, Dottie!

We celebrated this sweet girl from our church today at her graduation party. She has a million reasons to NOT be faithful to God, but she drives herself faithfully 30 minutes one way for Christian Education classes and worship week after week. She does it on her own without parental participation. This is the sort of gritty, faithful commitment that will carry her throughout her life. We are proud of her and pray for continued blessings in her life.

We were so BLESSED by the music ministry of Amy Ladd Harlow recently! She had a heart for God, is a gifted vocalist, and even got some of the kids involved in singing for the LORD. We are grateful for her investment in our church and how her voice brought us closer to God!

This weekend we give thanks for our nation as we celebrate Independence Day and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

We are grateful to God for His providence in the founding of this country, for the generations who have sacrificed for freedom, and for the continued hope that liberty brings to so many.

As believers, our highest allegiance is always to the Kingdom of God, yet we also honor the place we call home and pray for its healing, wisdom, and peace.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.” Psalm 33:12

As we gather with family, share meals, and watch fireworks across our communities, may we not forget to give thanks to the Lord who gives every good gift.

Praying for a safe, joyful, and grateful Independence Day for all.

We want to thank Dave and Marilyn Watkins, Bill Hodges, and Pastor Joshua for staffing our church booth at the King William Heritage Festival. Pastor Joshua was asked to close the festivities in a prayer of blessing over the community.
