NEW SERIES BEGINS TODAY

We're excited as we begin a new 7-Week Series today (Sunday, June 7 ... And yes it's on purpose to start on the 7th with 7 sermons to follow ;) ) at Bird's Run Community Church called: Are You Ready? When you think of the end of your life, which could be at an instance, have you readied yourself to stand before God? Have you lived a life where you won't have to hear Jesus say, "I Never Knew You!"? Or have you lived as Paul suggested and ready to "Win The Race!"?

There will be 7 sermons in this series because it's God's perfect number that represents so many things ... Perfection, completion, restoration, healing, redemption, rest, and on and on. The 7 sermons over the next several weeks are: 1) Keep On Knocking, But You Can't Come In; 2) Don't Keep Pressing The Snooze Button; 3) Don't Fail To Receive A Wedding Invitation; 4) Be Healed On The Sabbath; 5) A Survival Guide In The Wilderness; 6) Resurrected By The Father's CPR; and 7) It's Time To Feast At The Festival.

We're excited to begin this new series as we know God is going to do big things through Pastor Heath. We also know lives will be touched and possibly forever changed. We pray someone comes to Jesus because of what they hear. 🙌

IF I GOT JESUS 🙌

Pastor Heath and Brother Mike Hoskins shared their talents with the congregation this past Sunday by surprising everyone for Fifth Sunday. They had been practicing Ben Fuller's If I Got Jesus and played the instrumental together. What an awesome time of praise and worship. They are working on the lyrics and will also be playing more music together in the future. 🙌

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

We invite you to join us for our monthly Wednesday Bible Study on June 3 at Bird's Run Community Church (73007 Hopewell Road in Kimbolton) @ 6 p.m. 🙌

The Wednesday Bible Study is the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. We discuss tough topics that the Church faces across the world. Pastor Heath is the moderator, but it's an open discussion study. Also, the Wednesday Bible Study isn't just for our brothers & sisters at Bird's Run Community Church ... ALL are invited to attend. We also fellowship and share a meal each month, representing how the church would have met in Acts. We can't wait to fellowship and study together this Wednesday. ❤️ We ask everyone to pray about this ministry.

FIFTH SUNDAY 🙌

What an amazing Fifth Sunday today was at Bird's Run Community Church. We were privileged to have guest speaker Justin Haught join our congregation to share his testimony with our brothers and sisters about what The Lord has done in his life. After services, we hosted our Fifth Sunday fellowship meal and, as always, it was delicious. We pray that God will continue using Justin to advance His Kingdom.

We're excited as Justin Haught, who attends Stop 9 Church of Christ in Byesville with his wife Kaci and children, will join us to share his testimony of what God has done in his life. We know The Lord is going to use him to deliver a powerful witness to our congregation.

TODAY'S SERMON (5/24/26)

Pastor Heath led a semon today (May 24) titled: A Perfect Transformation! Jesus heals Mary Magdalene of 7 Demons and her life forever changed. She went from a troubled past to someone who supported Jesus, was a part of His "ministry team", followed to the cross and followed to The Tomb. She became the first witness of The Risen King!!! Jesus gave her a new life when he removed the evil spirits from her life, gave her life on the cross, and gave her life when He resurrected from The Tomb! Jesus leads to life!!!

We challenge you to read the passages (Matthew 27:56, 28:1-10; Mark 15:40 & 47, 16:1-9; Luke 8:1-3; 24:1-12; and John 19:25 & 20:1-18) as they provide a very powerful picture about Mary's transformation. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥

Pastor Heath led a semon today (May 17) titled: Light > Darkness! God showed us in Day 1 of Creation His purpose for humanity ... To live in The Light and "separate" ourselves from darkness. To live in The Light is "good" and darkness is nothing!!! Darkness is empty and leads to death. Light leads to life!

We challenge you to read the passages (Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:4-5, & 8:12; II Corinthians 4:4; and Exodus 13:21) as they provide a very powerful picture about Light and darkness, especially in today's world we live in. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥
