HARVEST FELLOWSHIP WAS GREAT 🙌

Bird's Run Community Church hosted its annual Harvest Gathering last weekend and we had a great turnout for the event. We had a Weiner Roast, followed by Chris Hart doing a portrayal of The Blood Stained Bible of Earley's Church. We THANK Chris for always coming and using his talents during this fellowship.

GO, FIGHT, WIN ... WITH OSIN!!!

Bird's Run Community Church will be hosting a benefit for Osin and his family on October 17. Our address is 73007 Hopewell Road (located in Bird's Run). All money from this event will go to Osin's family for medical and living expenses. We will only be able to accept cash as we are not able to take electronic payments.

The schedule of events are: From 4:30-5:30, an in-person silent auction will take place. A preview of the auction items was posted online October 10. Additional items were posted also today. Payments for merchadise must be made at the conclusion of the auction. We might have sandwiches or soup for sale during this time. During the silent auction there will be music, a bake sale, and a 50/50 drawing. The painting party starts at 6 p.m. and doors open at 5:30, so everyone has time to pay, collect supplies, and find a seat by 6. Stencils to trace the cat are provided. Colors can be changed to suit personal preference. Reservations are required since we have limited seating. If you want to paint, please RSVP now if you have not already done so. Snacks will be provided. See painting examples in the comments.

During the painting party we will have another 50/50 drawing. We might also have door prizes or a raffle.

WOMEN'S MONTHLY BREAKFAST

The monthly Women's Prayer Breakfast took place at Bird's Run Community Church this past Saturday (October 10) at 9 a.m. Kay Patterson was the guest speaker and her topic was "Grief." Miss Kay, as we Birds call her, is a walking miracle. She nearly passed this past Spring, but the Lord has other plans and is still using her to make an impact for His Kingdom! Hallelujah! We love you Miss Kay!!! ❤️❤️❤️

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

We invite you to join us for our monthly Wednesday Bible Study this evening (October 7) at Bird's Run Community Church (73007 Hopewell Road in Kimbolton) @ 6 p.m. 🙌

The Wednesday Bible Study is the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. We discuss tough topics that the Church faces across the world. Pastor Heath is the moderator, but it's an open discussion study. Also, the Wednesday Bible Study isn't just for our brothers & sisters at Bird's Run Community Church ... ALL are invited to attend. We also fellowship and share a meal each month, representing how the church would have met in Acts. We can't wait to fellowship and study together this Wednesday. ❤️ We ask everyone to pray about this ministry.

TODAY'S SERMON (10/4/26)

Pastor Heath led a sermon today (October 4) titled: Get Off The Mat!

We challenge you to read the passage: John 5:1-15 as it provides a very powerful picture about Jesus asking a very simple question ... " Would you like to get well?" Many of us have been lying on the mat for "38 years" with a defeated attitude, a poor me attitude, or a frustrated attitude. It's time to "Stand up!" It's time to "Pick up your mat!" It's time to "Walk!" We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥

GET OFF THE MAT!!!

Join us tomorrow (Sunday, October 4) as Pastor Heath will lead a sermon titled: Get Off The Mat! He will be taking a look John 5:1-15 and Jesus healing the man at The Bethesda Pool in Jerusalem. Christ asked him a very important question, "Do you want to get well?" After the lame man of 38 years answered him, Jesus instructed him to do three things: 1) Stand!; 2) Pick up your mat!; and 3) Walk! We'll take a look at each aspect of Jesus' instructions tomorrow. It's going to be powerful. Also, the photos accompanying this post is of The Bethesda Pool when Pastor Heath was there in October/November of 2022 and 2025.

Pastor Heath led a sermon today (September 27) titled: Touched by Jesus.

We challenge you to read the passages: Matthew 8:1-4; and Leviticus 13:1-46 as they provide a very powerful picture about Jesus reaching out, touching us, examining us, and healing us as our High Priest. No longer do we have to shout, "Unclean, Unclean!" The account of Jesus and The L***r is an amazing example of love, kindness, empathy, and Jesus making our lives living testimonials for Him. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥

The monthly Women's Prayer Breakfast Ministry took place Saturday, September 12 and we are so thankful for all the ladies who attended. The faith, fellowship & and friendship has been amazing!!! We also want to thank Marla Mourer for being the guest speaker this month and for delivering a message called: The Power of Words. If you haven't attended yet, we invite ALL ladies to come to the next breakfast on Saturday, October 10 at 9 a.m.
