We invite you to attend Bird's Run Community Church this Sunday (May 31) at 9 a.m. as we'll host our second Fifth Sunday of 2026.

We're excited as Justin Haught, who attends Stop 9 Church of Christ in Byesville with his wife Kaci and children, will join us to share his testimony of what God has done in his life. We know The Lord is going to use him to deliver a powerful witness to our congregation.

TODAY'S SERMON (5/24/26)

Pastor Heath led a semon today (May 24) titled: A Perfect Transformation! Jesus heals Mary Magdalene of 7 Demons and her life forever changed. She went from a troubled past to someone who supported Jesus, was a part of His "ministry team", followed to the cross and followed to The Tomb. She became the first witness of The Risen King!!! Jesus gave her a new life when he removed the evil spirits from her life, gave her life on the cross, and gave her life when He resurrected from The Tomb! Jesus leads to life!!!

We challenge you to read the passages (Matthew 27:56, 28:1-10; Mark 15:40 & 47, 16:1-9; Luke 8:1-3; 24:1-12; and John 19:25 & 20:1-18) as they provide a very powerful picture about Mary's transformation. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥

TODAY'S SERMON (5/17/26)

Pastor Heath led a semon today (May 17) titled: Light > Darkness! God showed us in Day 1 of Creation His purpose for humanity ... To live in The Light and "separate" ourselves from darkness. To live in The Light is "good" and darkness is nothing!!! Darkness is empty and leads to death. Light leads to life!

We challenge you to read the passages (Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:4-5, & 8:12; II Corinthians 4:4; and Exodus 13:21) as they provide a very powerful picture about Light and darkness, especially in today's world we live in. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥

REVIVAL THIS SUMMER ❤️❤️❤️

We're excited to officially announce that our congregation will be hosting a Revival this Summer at Bird's Run Community Church in Kimbolton, Ohio. 🙌

The Trustees - Mike Hoskins, Myrtle Beall, Donna LaCroix, Rose Sullivan and Tom George - and Pastor Heath started discussing the possibility of hosting a Revival about 12 months ago. We prayed about it and put it on our Even Schedule for 2026, not knowing how The Holy Spirit would move, but we knew He would.

Well, we're excited to officially announce the details. The theme of the Revival July 27-29 will be: There's Power in The Blood. Each night will begin with a dinner at 5:30 p.m. (self serve taco, hot dog, or potato bar) and the Revival starts at 6 and will run until about 7:30. Each night will feature a keynote speaker and praise and worship music.

Here is the schedule:
Monday, July 27 - Pastor Bob Baier (East Union Church) and music by Bridjez (Kirby Graham, Jeff Gann & Bryce Love)
Tuesday, July 28 - Pastor Jeff Bergeson Cambridge Presbyterian Church) & old hymnals by Mike Hoskins
Wednesday, July 29 - Pastor Heath Dawson (Bird's Run Community Church) and music by Call to Freedom Fellowship/The Siburt Family

We pray and hope that everyone will make plans to join us at Bird's Run Community Church at 73007 Hopewell Road in Kimbolton each night. We know that it's going to be three powerful nights of praise, worship, learning and fellowship. Hallelujah!!!

The monthly Women's Prayer Breakfast Ministry took place this past Saturday (May 9) and we are so thankful for all the ladies who attended. The faith, fellowship & and friendship has been awesome!!!. We also want to thank Beth Scott for being the guest speaker this month and for delivering a message called: Seeing Angels. If you haven't attended yet, we invite you to come to the next breakfast on Saturday, June 13 at 9 a.m.

MOTHER'S DAY FELLOWSHIP

We pray that ALL mother's had a Happy Mother's Day yesterday. After the message, Pastor Heath had all of the mothers at Bird's Run Community Church come up front and they were given a rose 🌹 and a card. We are so thankful to have the Godly mothers we do within our church family. After the service, we then had a fellowship meal. What an amazing morning!!! 🙌

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

We invite you to join us for our monthly Wednesday Bible Study on May 6 at Bird's Run Community Church (73007 Hopewell Road in Kimbolton) @ 6 p.m. We have been praying about this opportunity and after months of Pastor Heath and The Trustees (Donna, Mike, Myrtle, Tom and Rose) discussing this ministry, we were able to get it started last month. 🙌

The Wednesday Bible Study is the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. We will be discussing tough topics that the Church faces across the world. Pastor Heath will be the moderator, but it's going to be an open discussion study. Also, the Wednesday Bible Study isn't just for our brothers & sisters at Bird's Run Community Church ... ALL are invited to attend. We will also be fellowshipping and sharing a meal each month. We feel this is going to really represent how the church would have met in Acts. We can't wait to fellowship and study together.

TODAY'S SERMON (5/03/26)

Pastor Heath led a semon today (May 3) titled: The Way of Faith! The question often pops up ... Who are the true "Children of God?" Well, Paul answers that question for all of us via God in Galatians Chapter 3. The law was once a protector and guardian to us UNTIL The Way of Faith (Jesus) came! It "has come" and it is JESUS CHRIST! And as verses 28 & 29 tell us, if we are "In Christ" we are all one in Christ. And if we're "In Christ" ... we're the TRUE Children of Abraham, we are his heirs and God's promise to Abraham belongs to us also. It's definitely about a bloodline ... But it's Jesus' blood and being "In Him" that makes you a part of The bloodline!!! Hallelujah!!! 🙌

We challenge you to read the passage (Galatians 3:23-29) as it is very powerful, especially in today's world we live in. We pray you get something out of today's message. 🔥🔥🔥
