Giving is one of those topics that can make people tune out fast, but Sunday’s message challenged us to look past the dollar amount and ask a deeper question.

Is my giving coming from obligation, or is it coming from worship?

Pastor Jeff reminded us that giving is not mainly a financial issue. It’s a heart issue. And when we start asking what our giving says about our heart, it changes the way we think about generosity, faithfulness, and worship.

One of the biggest lies the enemy wants us to believe is that we have nothing to offer.

But God's Word tells a different story.

If you belong to Christ, He has gifted you with unique abilities, experiences, and opportunities to serve Him and encourage others. The church isn't complete without every member doing their part.

Maybe you've been sitting on the sidelines thinking someone else is more qualified, more gifted, or more needed. The truth is, God has placed you exactly where you are for a purpose.

Stewardship is about far more than simply managing what God has given us.

It’s surrender.

Just like a manufacturer knows how their creation works best, God knows how our lives were designed to function too. The question is — are we trusting His instructions or trying to do life our own way?

Because real stewardship says:
“God, this was Yours before it was ever mine.”
