Are you looking for something more meaningful than another evening out? Come build new connections, discover new possibilities, and strengthen your sense of community.

Join us for Bonding Beyond Boundaries: Building Community at Any Age, an engaging workshop for adults ages 60–75, facilitated by Emma Dufresne, MSW from the Women and Family Life Center in Guilford.

Through conversation, reflection, and creative activities, we’ll explore friendship, belonging, personal growth, and the many ways we can create meaningful connections at this stage of life.

This Sunday, we’re opening our doors for a special Sundae Sunday & Blessing of the Backpacks—a joyful morning designed especially with kids and families in mind.

Join us for worship with Guest Minister Rev. Dennis TeBeest, bring the kids (and their backpacks!) for a special blessing as they begin a new school year, and stay afterward for ICE CREAM!

No pressure. No need to know anyone. Just come as you are and see what we’re all about.

✨ THE LUMOS EXPERIENCE IS COMING TO KILLINGWORTH✨

What an incredible response from our community!

The Lumos Experiences Candlelight Concert at The Congregational Church in Killingworth, UCC is sold out for this Saturday, September 12. However, check the town pages on social media as some people are not able to attend and have tickets.

We are so excited to welcome everyone who will be joining us for this very special evening of live music surrounded by the beautiful glow of thousands of candles in our historic Meetinghouse.

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and to Lumos Experiences for bringing this unique concert experience to Killingworth. And, of course, thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who help make events like this possible.

We love seeing our Meetinghouse come alive as a place for music, connection, and community.

We’ll see you Saturday! And stay tuned for more wonderful events coming your way.

Bonding Beyond Boundaries is coming to Killingworth! 💙

On September 25 at 6:00 PM, join us at The Congregational Church in Killingworth, UCC for a workshop designed for adults ages 60–75 who are looking to build new friendships, strengthen their sense of community, and explore meaningful connections at any age.

Facilitated by Emma Dufresne, MSW, the workshop will explore community building, meaningful relationships, personal growth, and community resources. Refreshments will be provided.

In a world that can feel uncertain and troubled, may we remember the power of peace, compassion, courage, and faith.

Today, we remember those we lost, those who served, and the families and communities forever changed.

May we carry their memory with us—and may we choose peace whenever we can.

What better way to start a new school year than with a little encouragement, a few positive blessings, and a whole lot of community?

Join us this Sunday at The Congregational Church in Killingworth, UCC, as we welcome Guest Minister Rev. Dennis Tebeest for a special service featuring our Blessing of the Backpacks.

Bring your backpack, your kids, your grandkids — or simply come and share in the moment. Whether it’s a new school year, a new chapter, or simply a fresh start, we could all use a little extra encouragement and blessing along the way.

And then… ICE CREAM! 🍦

Stay after worship for Sundae Sunday and enjoy a sweet treat while connecting with friends and neighbors.

Community is at the heart of what we’re creating at The Congregational Church in Killingworth, UCC. 💙

Our Fall Learning Series is already underway, and it has been wonderful to see people gathering, learning, laughing, and simply enjoying being together.

Yesterday, Yoga for Anxiety with Cynthia Sarris got us off to a beautiful start. Everyone left feeling relaxed and refreshed — and there’s still plenty of room if you’d like to join us!

Today, Mahjong with Sandy Allard kicked off with a SOLD OUT class. We’re so excited to see this program grow!

And next Monday, September 14 at 10:00 AM, we’re opening our doors for Monday Morning Coffee Hour, sponsored by the KWO Senior Connections.

Need a place to get out of the heat? Want to enjoy a cup of coffee, have a conversation with a friend, or meet someone new? Come on in. You don’t need to be a church member. You don’t need a reason. Just come as you are. Our Parish Hall is a place for our whole community.

And we’re already looking ahead to spring!

Do you have a class, workshop, skill, hobby, or unique idea that you’d love to share with the community? We’re currently looking for instructors and ideas for our Spring Learning Series.

We believe our church can be more than a place we gather on Sunday. It can be a place to CONNECT, LEARN, GROW, and BELONG — together.
